The draft will be conducted like all the other drafts on this board so take a look at one of those threads. I want to have the twelve players by October 1st but if that's not the case I will move the draft back until we do have 12.

The biggest thing when doing an offline draft is to be on top of your time. Don't hold up the draft if you know you can't make your pick within the the time limit. Pm your picks to the commissioner, moderator or another player you trust.

We like active players in our leagues and the draft is often very telling of who is not going to be abandoning their team after the first month. It is very inconsiderate to join a league saying you are committed and then not showing up during the draft or season. Consistent offenders will not receive preference in future leagues.

Ah I see now. Looks like the thread itself will be used for the draft, and each person then adds to the list. I think I understand. Don't worry I do 8 leagues every season and always end up finishing them. :)

my buddy and fellow h2h manager in this thread, fsn123, tells me that yahoo! H2H leagues do not have a limit on add/drops within a week.

so we need to do ESPN imo. add/drop limits are good (three or four per week) and GP limit per week is good.

ESPN fantasy is much much better than yahoo in my opinion.

I like ESPN. I'm already in one and prefer it.

Just be sure when you set it up to do a League Manager one and NOT an ESPN custom one. I screwed up in football setting up some custom leagues and you couldn't change any of the settings after the draft.

League Manager is 10x better.

Plus I just noticed you can't do Offline drafts in custom. This is where you set them up. http://games.espn.go.com/fba/welcome/createleague

Yahoo does have player additions per week. It's currently set at 4 but Im really thinking of bumping it down to 3. I've checked and it's there. I will consider ESPN, but right now we've got 11 guys confirmed in our league already.

Will we have a GP limit per week? So that we don't have to do constant searching about who's playing more games to pick up and who's not to drop.

yah the GP limit is the most important to me IMO

i hate add dropping just to take advantage of GP.

No, as far as I can see there is no such option. I can't see streaming being too much of a problem since we'll have 12 players. At 14 players there probably aren't any relevant players left on the waiver wire for GP to be a problem, especially with the "new additions per week" limit set at 3.

However I do see the problem of people just playing everyone on their roster with reckless abandon. Right now I'm looking at ESPN league options so on the weekend there will be a final decision made.
