I do not know who has made exactly this list, but only seeing Kobe at #40 and Iguodala at #39 you know that Kobe is right in his statement. This is ridiculous.

Its based on what these players are expected to do this year, not what they've done in their careers. #40 is kind to Kobe. I highly doubt he will live up to that rating, he is not the same player he once was and Iggy is a far more well rounded player at this point in their careers.

With three 8-minute periods and a running clock, Green scored 23 and hit the game-winning 3. Marcus Morris led the losing team with 18.

LOL.

Hornacek to T.J. Warren after missing 1-leg runner: "Pass the ball. We're not playing a pickup game."

Plumlee just had a fastbreak dunk on Barron after Bledsoe made a great bounce pass ahead to Plumlee and around a defender.

P.J. Tucker is doing a good bit of playmaking for his team. He ran one set and has fed two consecutive Thomas 3-pointers.

Green's GW 3 looks like it came after the buzzer.

Yes, I know that is based in this future season, but to me it is incredible to think that there will be 39 better players than Kobe next season in the league. Injuries apart (every player can stay healthy all his career but one day can have a big injury...see Paul George), he is in shape and if you put him on GSW substituting Iguodala you can have the best team in the league, serious contender for sure. I think Iguodala is a great role player, but comparing him to Kobe... is not even close.

Nash,Dirk, Garnett,Pierce,Duncan....etc. played very well at 36 years old, like Kobe is right know. HOF's players have longer careers than average players and they can be All Stars even at that age.

You're comparing him to a bunch of guys who didn't have their achillies pop... then follow that by breaking a bone in their knee. Iggy plays off the ball and is a superb defender. Kobe is a volume chucker at this stage of his career. A horrible defender and the kind of offensive player that is as likely to cost you a game as he is to win one, and a team like Golden State does not need offense, I can't think of anything he'd provide that other guys on that squad are not all ready doing significantly better. You swap him for Iggy and Golden States defense instantly gets much much worse, they become less versatile in their lineups and you're taking the ball out of Curry's hands to put it into Kobe's... who is no where near the offensive threat that Curry is at this stage of their careers. And yes, the ball would be out of Curry's hands, Kobe is not an off the ball player and he is an ego maniac, there is no chance he would chill in a supporting role.

I also think that anyone who does not realize Kobe is a cancer by now is in extreme levels of denial. Dudes cannot wait to get OFF the Lakers at this point. Back when Kobe was a legit superstar and the Lakers were a title contender people were willing to put up with his garbage, but no longer, especially without Phil there to help reign in his ego.

Before offering Bledsoe (supposedly), what do you think we offered for Kevin Love initially? Or earlier on? I hope sometime in the future we hear someone talk about what was offered in some of the potential deals that we've been involved in (Gasol too)

I could see Goodwin becoming a Bledsoe type of player here he takes a longer time to develop due to minutes, but when he does, he's going to take off. Sounds like they have a similar work ethic.

I think we offered Okafor's expiring, Washington and the Pacer pick for Gasol. And I think the Lakers probably wanted Okafor, our pick and/or their own 2015 pick back.

As for Love... I'd think our pre-Bledsoe offer included anyone and everyone except Bledsoe and Dragic for Love. I'd guess something like the Morri, Len, Laker pick 2015 , Suns pick 2014.

I prefer Fesenko over Randolph or Barron,he is a FA right now. Big big body and is strong like a bull.

ESPN has officially put Goran at #27. he better not be too far behind Wall and Lillard.

I don't think any of those three guys are head and shoulders above either in terms of talent. If Randolph is good enough to make the team, he's probably a good practice body, fits our scheme and is a positive locker room guy.

Alex Len scrimmaged with the #Suns today for the 1st time since his 2nd pinkie fracture. He's aiming for 1-2 preseason games. Maybe Wed/Fri.

Sigh. All NBA 3rd team and he's barely in the top 30? That's only slightly ridiculous but whatever. These things are mostly meaningless. That All-Star bonus he deserved though....

I'm assuming part of the reasoning behind that ranking is media attention. Lillard's team made the 2nd round of playoffs and he was involved in a number of buzzer beaters last season. Wall was a former #1 pick who's Washington team also made the Conference semi's. Suns didn't make playoffs and outside of a number of highlight plays, we didn't really get much media attention at all.

At least he is ahead of Lowry.

overall our PG rankings were almost exactly on point with my predictions of 25/45/65.

So. 30 teams in the league. All three are in the "top three" per team, league-wide. Pretty close to the top 2 per team.

Meaningless but interesting.

Who cares? I almost never agree with Kobe, but he was right on point with his characterization of the ESPN idiots.

Suns did not offer any first round picks for Gasol. We offered Okafor's corpse and might have hinted that a second might be available.
