Det- the T brothers and Green

We improve rebounding and get another wing prospect who has potential on the defensive side of the court. Plus who doesn't want Anthony for the rest of the year!

Here's the problem. Monroe is coming off his qualifying offer which means that:
a.) he will be a UFA
b.) we dont own his bird rights. We MUST be under the cap to resign him. Currently we are not. We either 1.) must trade Thomas and Tucker for picks/expirings or 2.) renounce Dragic so his cap hold frees up space. That means Dragic wont be resigned.

So you have to ask yourself. Is Monroe/MCP worth Markeiff/Marcus/Green/Thomas/Tucker or Markeiff/Marcus/Green/Dragic?

Assuming we could get good value for IT and Tucker yes. A core of Bledsoe, Dragic, Monroe, and Len is a good starting point. If we could flip IT and Tucker for another player on their rookie deal we'd be in a good position.

so.....you need to flip IT and Tucker to a team who a.) has cap space or a HUGE expring or b.) value both IT/Tucker over a young kid on a rookie deal (probably a contending team.) This contending team must need a Score First PG and a 3@D SF.

Trading for Monroe realistically involves at least 5 steps before it makes any sense. There is a reason why the NBA discourages a player from taking their QO, and this is it.
