No he wasn't. Now you're just making **** up. He said he didn't want to re-sign in Phoenix because he didn't trust the front office. I wouldn't have either if I were him at that point.

By all indications he was one of the most professional guys in the nba, perhaps with some poor judgement in giving his honest answers to the press at the end.

I hate threads like this. I only have appreciation for current Suns' players. If we lose-by choice or force-a good player, they can go to hell when they are playing for another team!

An old decrepit Nash...sure.

No life is easy, when you see what you want to see. But, everyone has their own criteria/rules, their own telescope.

Hats off to Goran for getting off this sinking ship. And at least he had the balls to be honest about it.

PS... yes edited to avoid verbal jousting 8-)

players like dragic can never gain as much as Sarver did from him. you'd be naïve believing that the cap will always see that never occurs. although I get your point.

Dragic jumped off this sinking ship at the right time. Good chance he could have hurt his market value and $$ if he stayed on the Suns til summer even if IT got traded. For a player who played on an insanely bargain contract the last 3 years, I'm sure he wants to finally get that big pay day and can't blame him.

Seems like people in Miami love him already and he loves it there as well

The honeymoon phase with Miami will fade eventually. I respect him for apologizing, and my opinion has always been they put Dragic in a bad position. Took the ball out of his hands. It wasn't right to make things so public, glad he acknowledged that.

Anyone of you would of left after what Dragic endured this season. Suns made bad decisions by going out to get IT, completely ruined out chemistry then making Bled run point which is imsane after an all star year Goran had. Who can trust this team after all this crap they been pulling lately. It was a bad way to demand a trade but it is what it is he wanted off this team badly and it just happened to come right before the trading deadline but its not like he planned that on purpose to literally **** us over.

I wouldn't have left. I would have worked on both my free throws, and my three point shot. I would have also worked on my defense, and watched a buttload of video on all the major two guards in the league, as well as a few up and comers, so I could learn their tendencies, and punk them whenever I had the chance.

Then I would have busted my arse the whole season, if not for the team, myself, so I could position myself where I could get the best contract I could. Last years Goran, shooting 45% from three, 85% from the line, and a better defender, could easily grab that $20 million a year contract. Plus this team lacked a leader all season, so if I wanted to be the man, I could do so. You don't have to play point to be the man.

I was with McD before the IT signing, I started to question him then. After this Dragic trade?

Knight is younger and a decent player but not a great point guard. Seems as if he's a shooting guard. Bledsoe is hard to watch at the end of games and easily (to me) the most frustrating "star" in the league.

What's impressed me about the Heat is that everybody is so connected. It doesn't matter if you're working in the front office or you're just a security guy at the game, it looks like they're in this to win a championship. You can see they're one big family, a lot of interesting characters, like Michael Beasley, who I played with in Phoenix. They're always going to be there for you, they're going to have your back.

I felt that right away when D-Wade texted me as soon as I landed in Miami. He is just unbelievable. He's a future Hall of Famer and he's such a nice guy, humble guy. I already have a close bond with him and spend a lot of time talking to him about basketball.

I didn't have a player like that in Phoenix. He also organized a team dinner for us in New Orleans. For Zoki, Luol has been spending a lot of time with him. D-Wade and Luol still talk to each of us after every game, checking on us.

I already feel different in Miami, and something clicked on Monday. After we beat the Suns, I spent time with one of my old coaches and other friends from Slovenia, who were in Miami all week for vacation. I had fun showing them inside the locker room. Then later that night, I had dinner with Zoki at Prime 112 on Miami Beach, and the manager of the restaurant welcomed us to Miami. D-Wade was there, too, and it was a great time. We were laughing together, happy from the win. He thanked me for having his back in the game.

At that moment, I really felt like Miami was home.

What gets me is that Dragic blames the front office for all of his problems.

Isn't Horancek the one the chose to put Dragic in the corner?

He's the coach and he somehow escapes all blame for everything that goes on. Somehow all the players suck and the front office are all liars but Hornacek seems above the law and a great coach.

I would get out of town I were him.
