Two inconsistent teams in same position build using different strategy - superteam vs continuity. First game in a while to watch live or on replay without checking box-score in advance so hoping for a good game and Suns win.

We win this one and then we are locked into either the 6 or 7. We really need to win both of these and hope the Pelicans lose one.

Turns out Suns can't fall below 8th spot even by losing both remaining games because of how three team tie breaks are determined. That said win both remaining games and grab the 6th seed. For that GSW have to beat Pels today.

While I would like for the Suns to secure the 6th seed to avoid the play-in games, I actually think another meaningful game wouldn't be the worst idea to get this team to more reps together... as silly as that sounds towards the end of the season. Plus, I do not think the Suns match up well against the Thunder who currently are in 3rd, I know they are inexperienced, but I think the team is too old and don't have that extra gear to match up with the speed that the Thunder play with.
Though the Thunder could still end up getting the No 2 seed and Wolves drop down to 3rd.

All in all... Suns should just be playing hard tonight and doing their best to win because we could very well be likely to face the Kings once more in a play-in game and I would hate to give them any more confidence.

that's more bad news than good really. we may have to watch us lose two play-in games rather than just one. at least with 9th seed we can outie-5000 sooner.

At least for Sacramento their a pretty young team and have most of their picks and assets to trade to get better in the offseason.

The mighty Phoenix Suns will make quick work of the kings and regain the 6th spot.

That's weird. If we finish 47-35 along with the Lakers and Kings, we would lose individual tie breakers to both, but somehow one of them would be behind us? They would have both beaten us 3-2.

But I guess if it's combined records of all games between each other the Lakers would finish last, because the Kings swept them 4-0.

Denver losing means the Wolves aren't going to play their c-squad on the season closer. In other words, our schedule just became more difficult. Must win against the kings if the Suns want to avoid the play-in.

WTH is the NBA advertising the play in game with the Suns being in it and the season isn't over as yet. You really can't trust this league

So do we steal a win or go home with another L? We need a win to solidify our chances of securing the final guaranteed play off spot, but this team is an enigma every time it takes the court.

Denver choking tonight means you might face them if you get the 6th seed now...

Nurkic just turned his back and let Sabonis drill it from three.
