Looks like we're finally free of what amounted to one of the worst assistant coaching extensions (and/or overpays) in quite a while:

Hopefully Vogel has a plan for an assistant going forward unless he, too, is released upon season's end. Anything has to be better than iso every play.

I know a lot of people think Young might be overrated, and perhaps that is true. He did interview for at least 2 or 3 head coaching spots in the NBA but ultimately was turned down. So that is saying something.

I'm hoping whoever replaces him is able to give Vogel (if he's around next season) some innovative plays or something to help limit the Suns turnovers and give the Suns a better system especially in the 4th quarter.
