WSOF sucks imo.

Also saw they signed Thiago Silva.

lol.

They have always been amateur hour, but they used to at least have cards that had somewhat interesting fights on them. Last night I knew 3 names total on the main card. And one of them was Cody McKenzie, who is awful. You have to try pretty hard to put on cards where I only recognize 3 of the fighters. There are Titan FC and Tachi Palace Fight cards where I know more fighters. That is pretty inexcusable when you have a decent stable of fighters, and a lot of them are complaining they aren't fighting as much as they would like.

I wouldn't say WSOF used to be really good at having quality fights up and down the card. In 18 events after they hit the ground running, have they had a classic fight, ever? Glenn-Georgi is the best fight from their org that I've seen, and that one was even borderline. It's because their cadre of original talent is really thin per division. Their fights are usually: Gaethje and his opponent, Moraes and his opponent, etc. 145 and 170 are the only divisions where they've had any real depth. And their 170 depth consisted of largely boring retreads.

I do agree that they've even regressed as an organization. They really shouldn't exist as anymore and allow what talent they still do have to spill to the UFC or even Bellator, and I think they were on their way out of the business, then Coker held up a sign taunting Zuffa about Bellator's Tito/Bonnar rating, so WSOF had to stay around still to run interference.

Actually, I thought last night's card had a couple really great fights from young dudes. The first fight - w/ the Paul Daley look/fight-alike - and the one with the guy who Mortal Kombat'd his opponent. That latter guy looked great (72 kickboxing matches), and both guys from the first looked high-level. More highly skilled top-to-bottom than just about any Bellator card I can remember (all those LHW/HWs forced on to every card doesn't help). Add Hill to the roster, that's a handful of really talented fighters well-showcased.
Hi love, bye love, I will miss my love.

What a joke. I'll be honest, I hope wsof fails. I don't like them.

Gaethje, already slur-spoken, is from Grudge. Naturally. Jesus. Schaub's re-counts of Wittman's method are scary and they evidently haven't changed fast enough, if at all.

Its interesting to me, given those stories, that Rose trains there (she does and I'm not confusing that, right?). She comes out about how horrible it was at Duke's, she then tries to get him to pick her on his team for tuf, then she comes out about how terrible their training is...as she is at Grudge?

Is Melvin Guillard the least professional fighter in the sport? Let's recount his wsof career so far:

Has two fights with them, misses weight twice.
Calls wsof the b league while calling himself an a league fighter.
Goes 1-1 in those fights.
Fails to submit his medicals for the third fight, third fight canceled.
Says he would rather fight in the ufc than be champ in wsof.
Apparently is now wanting to go to bellator despite wsof contract.

I'm so sure the ufc wants you back, Melvin. This is the same guy who has been run out of every camp he has ever been with.

Ronny Markes is out of tomorrows WSOF main event with dehydration. This LHW tourney is a complete disaster.

The funny part about guys who have bad weight cuts or constantly miss weight is that moving up in weight is rarely the answer. They usually struggle to make the next weight up as well. Its mostly a discipline problem. Guys like Rony/Rumble/Gastelum exemplify this. It'll be interesting to see how a guy like Lineker handles it in the future...my guess is that he still struggles.

Apparently WSOF had a fighter not show up in time for the weigh-in.

Edit: Also someone is taking a really short notice fight against the guy they had planned to corner.
