Boo... I wanted to go to the fight in SA.

It would have been an electric fight at the Alamodome, much more so than the Trout fight.

I guess I am jaded at the prospect of Mayweather vs Manny actually fighting.

My excite level is barely above the announcement of the NBC fights.

I can't see Lemiueux or Cotto wanting to fight him unless it is for unholy amount of money.

I do want GGG to fight Chavez because Chavez is just a douche...

Chavez called him out on Twitter. That got laughs out of everyone in the boxing media because he's the same guy that turned down a **** load of money even though GGG conceded to all his demands. He ducked the sh*t out of him in every sense of the term. He could have fought him but made up excuses. Now he's trying to call him out on Twitter? After signing with Haymon? Hilarious. Man most Haymon fighters are jokes. They hide behind their advisor and talk sh*t about fighters they know they're being protected from.

GGG is more his father's son then he'll ever be. The funny thing is that Mexican fans adore GGG more than Chavez Jr. Just look at all the negative responses he got after posting his tweets this weekend. I think he probably got pissed off that the guys on HBO dared compared GGG to his father.

I wouldn;t mind Chavez and Stevenson going at it at 175... given that they are both backed by Haymon there is a snowball chance it could happen in the future since they both duck from people.

Tureano Johnson is supposedly next

Really? Where did you hear that from? I kinda expected someone like Sergio Mora would get the call considering GGG's next fight might be in Los Angeles. Tureano Johnson just doesn't make sense. Why waste time fighting a guy who got KO'ed by someone GGG already KO'ed.

Boxing on NBC tomorrow night from MGM Grand in LV. Broner-Molina on the undercard, Thurman-Guerrero as the main event. Solid card to debut with IMO. Guerrero is the best opponent Thurman has fought to date and it's possible that Broner could have it tough tomorrow. I wasn't too impressed with his performance against Emmanuel Taylor, a guy who is probably around Molina's level.

I am legitly excited for the fights tommorrow.

I just say Layla Ali diss Broner pretty bad....

She set him up with a question... Adrian Broner will win if...

and he said if you hug and kiss me... and she was like... hell no... and he is a giant compared to him.

I am of the opinion that Broner should have several losses... and I really want Molina to stop him but he has been in too many wars for my liking.

Broner should be done fighting guys like Molina. Molina's coming off of 2 straight losses.

Thankfully, Thurman-Guerrero was quite entertaining even if it was a tad one-sided. Thurman looked much better than he did in his previous fight, he really looked to go for it but Guerrero is a tough SOB. Thurman definitely landed some shots that would've knocked out a lot of other guys.

It was but I didn't like Thurman behavior at the end of the fight. He knew he had it in the bag and ran around the ring.

I liked NBC's production but as for the in-arena show with the ring walk music and PA announcer, it felt cheesy and generic IMO. After all 3 fights, the PA guy said each time "Now let's give a hand for these valiant warriors!" They need a Buffer or Lennon Jr. to do these, someone that can inject excitement into the crowd. I don't mind the fighters walking alone as much as some others but at least give these guys the freedom to choose the music they want to listen to when they are entering the ring.

It did an average of 3.4M viewers on NBC Saturday night, #1 among 18-49. Peaked at 4.2M during Thurman-Guerrero.

I read somewhere that it felt short of what they wanted out of their targeted audience of 18-49. Duva's daughter posted some interesting numbers on her Twitter explaining why it wasn't as big a success as it should have been. She just wasn't throwing around uninformed opinions but pretty solid facts and numbers. As much as I dislike Haymon (I still don't think that him not working with Top Rank or Golden Boy will ever be good for the sport), I really want this to work.
