Oliveira misses weight, must drop 4 more lbs. To say he looks like a skeleton already is an understatement.

Epidemic.

Testosteroth vs Testostereem?

I'm hoping Creepy Joe can sub Chiesa. Masvidal did so on paper he could. I'll say this though, Masvidal reminds me of Pettis in a way. Both are just great mma grapplers, much higher level at mma grappling than pure grappling, as opposed to (imo) a guy like Lauzon who adapts his pure grappling to an mma setting. IDK, hard to verbalize what I'm trying to say.

I don't think you can get too mad at guys about it, until it's habitual. The reality is some fighters suffer injuries but are pressured to stay in the fight for a number of reasons. As far as I know this is Oliveira's first offense, so he gets a pass in my eyes.

Despite my "bjj bias" (hehe) I hope Mousasi smacks down Jacare.

Kind of thinking that won't happen though, we'll see.

Mousasi is slick on the ground. BJJ bias fully intact.

I have no major rooting interest, as I like both guys, so I just hope we see a good fight. Hopefully Jacare doesn't just adopt a gameplan to stay sticky to him just because of what happened last time. It's not his M.O. coming in, though. So it should be entertaining. I don't have a real read on how it'll play out as far as who wins. They are both game everywhere.

Huh? Pretty sure he doesn't even hold rank in bjj. Unless its a more recent development.

You know I'm just kidding around, right? I don't always want to dilute it with a smilie.

Anyways, not holding a rank just means he doesn't trane in the gi. But he tranes a lot, clearly, or is a natural. He's a black belt in MMAJJ, don't you think?

Yea of course I know that, I was making fun of myself with the bjj bias thing. I'm proudly a nerd in that regard. :D

I just meant his grappling background is in judo, I believe he is a blackbelt there actually.

I know the dude used to train with Fedor, so I'm sure he was exposed to sambo as well.

You know, I actually wasn't really a Khabib fan (through no fault of his own, I just thought he lost to Tibau) until he wore that shirt.

I just like trolls in general. Askren, Roy Nelson, Khabib.

I thought Tibau had won also.

Anyways, did the UFC make this card on Friday just to dick with Bellator?

Kinda assumed this card was on Saturday. Don't think I like it being on a Friday (Saturday morning for me).

I really like both Jacare and Mousasi, but I would rather see Jacare win because I think he has a legit shot at being the best in the division. Mousasi is a tier below the elite guys, IMO. Mousasi winning would shake that perception, which I don't think I'd be able to deal with.

I'm also hoping Overeem wins big for the same reason. I still believe he can hang with the guys at the top. Maybe not beat them, but be credible. You could make Overeem vs. Cain or JDS tomorrow and I'd talk myself into it being competitive.

This is a great FN card, jeez. This is how they used to look.

I didn't even know Overeem was on it. As a co-main on a Friday night card? Yikes. He needs a win.

Alistair doesn't quite look like the Reem of 2010, but that ain't natural, esp not for someone who has been a decade-long user.

It's on tonight because they don't want to compete with college football.
