Bomb match of the century. I give Hunt the edge for more skilled striking.

I am actually looking forward to Hunt vs. Nelson.

Talk about two guys with massive power.

I guessing Hunt wins the stand up early and forces Country to take it to the ground where he finishes The Super Samoan off by submission.

This is a sick card. I know he's done but I would've loved to see Kid Yamamoto on this card as a kind of retirement (from UFC) fight.

I had heard that they were working on Kid vs. Faber, possibly for this card. I guess nothing ever came of it though.

Not particularly competitive at this point, but it would still be cool to see.

Given it's in Japan and likely retirement fight, I would've hoped they worked out a Kid v Can type of bout.

Is Yoshihiro Akiyama vs. Amir Sadollah cowboyronnie's hottest fight of the year?

It would be awesome to watch Faber smash him.

I still dislike that guy from the time they couldn't pull him off his KOed opponent for a decent amount of time.

Is a great card! I love Kikuno, but he's not that effective...vs Sicilia is a competitive match.

What is Kikuno's style?

Offense - Karate
Defense - Blocking punches with his face

He should fire his karate instructor and hire Machida's father.

I think he does a far different style of karate than Lyoto. Okinawan not mainland Japanese? He moves like a movie mummy, hands out in front like in a trance. He used to, anyways. And his step-into-a-switch-stance liver kick is the most beautiful move in MMA (it, and the front kicks Boetsch used to throw). I don't know what they're called. They float and then dig, into and under the ribs. The movement is beautiful.

There's no bouncing, the timing is about distance and countering but without Lyoto's dynamism.

Couldn't figure out who Kikuno was until I watched the fight with Ferguson. Now I remember. THe guy showed a solid chin but having a solid chin isn't defense. He had no head movement whatsoever. He has good counters because he has fast hands but he isn't a particularly fast athlete.

Thanks. I've seen him fight on several occasions, it just looked like a different style of karate to me than we are used to.

My (admittedly very rudimentary) understanding of the philosophy of karate is to be elusive, avoid all damage, and then rush in and strike and "kill"/end the confrontation with that one attack. I don't really see much of that philosophy in his game, as opposed to someone like Lyoto or even Wonderboy.

This has the potential to look very much like Hunt's last fight.

It will be exciting but I'm not sure if my conscience can take watching two guys swinging lunchboxes at each other's braincases for 5 rounds again.

I still shop at Walmart and eat at McDonalds, so my conscience is OK.

I wanna see someone concussed.

Being such a big Roy fan, I always took you for a burger king guy.

They've gone downhill in recent years. Still love me a Whopper, but now my kitchen is large enough to cook my own burgers without waiting in line behind 50 poophead high school kids at lunch time.

I'm sure your own burgers are better than Mcburgers as well, bruh.

I don't really eat fast food anymore, but I'd spring for a whopper before McDs fasho lol.
