Think Bader will stay on the card?

You're right, he might not.

Though getting a win against someone (anyone) might help his case for a shot ahead of the Gus/Glover winner.

On a related note, LHW is really bad. You would think Jones being out would open things up, but I'm not really excited about any potential fights at LHW aside from DC/Rumble. OSP will likely get a title shot in the near future.

Gus is out of that one. And you're right about LHW - Bader could be getting a title shot.

Ah, right.

Bader vs. Glover would make sense if they hadn't already fought and a Glover win wouldn't mess up the division more than it already is.

I see Bader making a case for a shot already.

Just not impressed with the guy on that level.

Can't think of two bigger shells of their former selves than Hendo and Boetsch in the ufc. At least assuming that BJ is gone for good.

Both are 1-5 in their last 6 (I refuse to count Boetsch/Dolloway as a win for Boetsch).

Mitrione vs. Rothwell seems like a more important fight to me. Could be because I've been listening to The Fighter and The Kid. Could be because I have a hard time imagining a less important fight than Hendo vs. Boetsch.

Mitrione is super exciting. His style is so loose, wtf.

I love Boetsch. My fave middling fighter.

The Heath fight and the Okami fights were both beautiful. Despite appearances, he was fine throughout that Okami fight. Still moving, still technical. And that finish. He threw those uppercuts around the OUTSIDE of Okami's arm, all the way across both of their bodies. And the power. Holy Hell. Watch that again.

His JKD power kick to the ribs from early in his career and Kikuno's lead-leg karate kicks are my two fave techniques by anyone ever.
Hi love, bye love, I will miss my love.

I'd recommend the full fight, first of all. It's good. But watch those uppercuts outside Okami's right arm and the snapback of Okami's head & the sound of the final uppercut he lands. They're in Japan, there's a lack of real crowd noise, and there's a camera guy like 3 feet from the finish - you hear all the details of the violence. Put yourself there, bros.
Hi love, bye love, I will miss my love.

That is actually my goto fight to argue why rounds are bad in mma. Yushin has full mount, threatening arm triangles and good GNP and Boetsch looked like a fish out of water (he briefly regained half guard and Yushin knew the round was over so just settled in). Boetsch saved by the bell of course. He's not getting up without SOME type of intervention.

Of course none of this detracts from what you were saying.

Poirier/Medieros should be good.
