I don't think so. I can't find anything online saying he does.

I thought he said he did when he was on Chael's (?) podcast. He doesn't have a bellator contract, that I know for 100% sure. His contract is with Spiketv.

I heard he has a contract with the UFC, but that there's places well it would be considered void because of how long it's been since he's fought.

That kind of refreshes my memory. He claimed at the time (within the last few months) that he didn't know if he still had a contract. That could be why, maybe it expired. I think that's generally a five year deal, not sure when he last fought with them.

Fedor's opponent seems to be finalized.

Take a guess. You're way off.

Spoiler:
Tsuyoshi "TK" Kohsaka, who hasn't fought in 9 years and is 45 years old

Its pretty clear that this is going to be a joke no matter what they ultimately decide on. I haven't even heard a rumor of any legitimate opponent.

Hell, would anyone here be down to fight Fedor? What's the purse? :)

I love that this is being announced like 2 weeks out, but it's not even a late replacement. It's just the original announcement.

I generally like Fedor, but it would actually be pretty hilarious if this dude just KOed him with the quickness. Isn't he actually a good kickboxer? Fedor is crazy enough to stand with him.

He's got an impressive kickboxing record (40-10, 1NC, 13KOs)... if he was fighting top competition. He's been doing the regional Japan kickboxing circuit, so not the best competition, though he does have a victory over Kharitonov in 2010. K-1 Korea champ in 2009... but I don't recognize anyone he beat. Hasn't won a fight in three years. Lost his only sub grappling match by decision. 2-0 in MMA against nobodies.

What a joke. When you say he hasn't won a fight in three years do you mean kickboxing or mma? I thought he won some tournament earlier this year and they were going to use that to help sell the fight? kickboxing or mma lol.

The sad part is that I will probably watch this, depending on the timing. My wife is pregnant and doesn't really want to go out for new years eve.

In kickboxing, TKO loss last year to No Wikipedia... he's won his 2 MMA fights in that period.

Congrats on the new addition!

In all my years of watching fights I've never seen anyone with a tighter guard/high guard game than Kron Gracie I don't think.

Can't believe this dude hitchhikered out of a fully extended Kron armbar, Kron stays on it and the guy rolls back and eventually escapes. He got a few reversals but what does Kron care when his guard is so good.

I'm loving these long first rounds, you guys know that.
