Karl James Noons! He'll need Game Genie and the Konami code to win this one, however.

Hendricks vs Thompson? That's a weird style match up. Also I thought Hendricks was moving to 185.

looking forward to that one. I'm thinking Wonderboy might be to awkward for Hendricks to deal with.

Finally, the rematch no one is clamoring for.

Felt like these two only fought in September but it's been 6 months since either have fought. It's funny how MMA is sometimes. When fights are scheduled in 6 months time and it just sneaks up on you. Or you think they a fighter fought a few months ago but it turns out they've been out for half a year already.

More deserving, not sure I'll say better. Sucks that Stipe finally gets his shot on 2 weeks notice, but at least he gets it. If Cain won, he'd be waiting til 2018.

This card is pure garbage, by the way.

It sucks but hopefully Stipe is smart enough to have been staying ready. Although who knows, he is a dude with a full-time job, so may not train as hard between camps. Obviously good for him that he doesn't have to cut weight.

And Cain was supposedly ready and willing to fight on the Houston card. UFC had to insist on this rematch though. Sucks for him, truly.

Hilariously weak card which has just gotten weaker with a short notice title fight. Sucks to see Cain go out with an injury again...guy just can't stay healthy. One fight in two years really isn't what you want from a champion regardless.

2 week notice wouldn't be as bad for a heavyweight as a different class anyways, though it's not ideal obviously. I'd make Werdum a pretty large favorite in any case.

AKA probably overtrains.

Certainly not deep for a PPV. Though there's a must see fight on the Fight Pass portion where C.M Punk's opponent may be determined.

Should let guys fight when they can, especially guys like Cain. Just making the injury issue (that is weaker cards) worse like that.

Here's another thing for Stipe. Objectively, Werdum has to be a favorite in a normally scheduled fight. So anything that can throw things out of wack could be good for him. Maybe Werdum has to switch up his gameplan or something, maybe it throws him off mentally. IDK.

Stipe's dad lives next door to me. I spoke to him earlier today and Stipe's ready. He said Stipe's been working as hard as he does when he has an upcoming fight. Besides that, I'm pretty sure he's been studying both Werdum & Velasquez for some time now.

I don't know, this card just got more interesting IMO. Stipe is hungry and IMO, I can see him winning this. If he can stay on his feet, I can see him winning by a TKO.

I'm with Stipe here, been following him from his early days, know him in person and I know very well what this means to him. Great fighter and even better man.

I'll have a hard time rooting against either guy, I like them both. Stipe winning would be cool.

Werdum has to be the favorite, but this is HW. The most consecutive title defenses any HW has had in UFC history is 2. Miocic certainly has knockout power and Werdum's greatest skill isn't wrestling, so they will be on their feet for a good portion of this fight.
