Love this fight. A legit competition with freakshow appeal.

Have to favor Hunt by a lot, he's just below the top tier of Heavyweights whereas Brock hasn't fought in years. Hunt is plenty tough and savvy enough to survive a round on the bottom if he has to. And it's very doubtful Brock can take many hits from arguably the heaviest puncher in the sport.

Checked the odds, Hunt is under -200, which I would normally say is a good play but heavyweight MMA makes me want no part of any favorite.

Aren't too many match ups worse for Brock. Confused by the ufc. Hunt sits back, hands down, and throws loose counters from the waist. Anyone shooting without a damn good setup is effed. Lead hand hook, maybe even a jab, but likely a rear counter uppercut KO.

Healthy Brock wins, IMO.

Lesnar would be stupid to stand with Hunt, which is why he'll take him down for ground and pound beating ultimately leading himself to victory.

Hunt will obviously always have the punchers chance, mind you.

Brock only has a one-off permission from the WWE, so the UFC doesn't necessarily care if he losses.

Is health enough to overcome a 4 and a half year lay off?

I can't imagine Hunt has improved noticeably on the ground since returning to UFC. Part of this might be because he's now a headliner/co-headliner and there's more incentive to throw down, so he's baiting his opponents into fire fights and they're obliging (and he hasn't faced a pure wrestler yet in UFC). Clear way for Brock to lose, clear way for Hunt to lose, IMO.

I know Mark Hunt isn't the greatest fighter, but I have a hard time seeing Brock coming off of a 4.5 year layoff and winning this fight. It has been 7 years since he's actually fought well. (at 100, coincidentally, and holy **** at that being 7 years ago) I think the first time Hunt lands will be the beginning of the end.

I legit have no idea how this fight ends. I could see Brock running Hunt over and I could see Hunt taking Brock's head off. Will depend on how much training Brock has been doing and if he is 100% and what exactly a 100% even looks like, because I'm not sure we ever saw him in the UFC.

Ballsy move by Brock, great fight to add to the card. In the end, 200 shaped up nicely.

Hunt takes 5 years off of Brock's life.

Brock is too one dimensional and afraid of getting hit to adequately set up a decent takedown. Hunt will knock his freaking block off and walk away ala his Frank Mir & Struve fights.

Brock is literally going to charge at him, ala Herring and try to drive him into the ground. If he does, he'll win via GNP, if he doesn't, he'll probably get KO'd while in the clinch/trying to secure a takedown.

He's improved greatly and the sense of surviving. Bigfoot and Struve both had him mounted and a decent period of top control time(IIRC) for instance, but Hunt was able to do enough to make it to the next round.

I think Brock takes this, but I would love to see Hunt KO him.
