NXT Thread

Post#1 » by Celtics_Champs » Thu Jun 9, 2011 4:58 am

Anyone keep track or try to follow the action there?

I'll watch youtube clips here and there. I don't know why they only show it in Florida, and not online. I'd probably keep up to date on it more if they had the full show online.

Who's your favorite developmental guy?

I really like Dean Ambrose (formerly Jon Moxley), they just signed him recently, but the guy can cut a great promo

moxley is good but i'm not gonna talk about the guys with a history of being good(rollins, orlov) but husky's brother, bo rotundo is gonna be a star for the wwe ... he's like randy orton but with a southern accent.

leakee is new to wrestling(trained this year) but since he's very athletic he's picked up fast, or well his athleticism hides his mistakes

i like kenneth cameron and monty lynch(especially lynch)

mike dalton and rodney thomas were trained by lance storm so they're advanced in terms of wrestling

brad maddox has charisma flying out his ass

leo kruger is very solid, he was trained by gabriel's father ... kruger and gabriel both had a great feud before their time in the wwe

briley pierce is ziggler's younger brother

the guy who i like the most and will be pushed to the moon(and rightfully so) is alexender rusev

Watch this match. Seriously. That was a far better match than anything we saw last night.

This feud between the two has been absolutely incredible.

-Wait they get medals?
-Seth has been there for a lonnnnnng time it feels.
- those chops when Dean's caught in the ropes.
**** I love Dean Ambrose. Bring this guy up when he's ready, please. He can be a great heel.
-Why the heck don't they do Iron Man matches anymore in the big leauges? Last one was about 2 years ago according to this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iron_Man_m ... ent.2F_WWE

Great feud, great match. Love all the falls, the consecutive ones for Ambrose. Just some really good stuff.

edit: even the girl announcing the pinfalls was great. She was so into it.

The FCW 15 championship is a medal. That's the only one.
And yeah, I don't know what's taking them so long to bring these guys up. They should have had this feud on TV (although it would have never happened with those time perimeters).

The FCW 15 Champ is something they should bring up to the big leagues. Make it like the X-division used to be, where it wasn't the heavyweight champion, but it wasn't less valuable either.

Maybe we'll get another surge of new guys brought up when Hero and Castignolli are ready. Sort of like the surge we got that brought us Barrett, Bryan, Riley and others.

This is where you see the loss of ECW. Before ECW was off the air just about every wrestler who got called up to the main roster from 2006-10 got there start in ECW. Both guys in Air Boom, Swagger, Tyson Kidd, Sheamus, and of course Punk and Miz. Sure, Miz technically started on SD but he was feuding with Divas and the Boogeyman while he was there. Ziggler is pretty much the only guy of note who didn't start on ECW.

"I've played in the small leagues for so long now that I've became bored. I have worked to get back here and not a single guy signed to a contract down here or up in Titan Headquarters will stop me from proving; whether it be by myself or as a King of Wrestling... That I am better than the rest."

"The man you knew me as is done, gone, finished. You recognize the face? This is a face you will get to know very well. I am Antonio Cesaro I am a King of Wrestling... The other is not too far behind and believe me when I say this. This place will soon have a Hero."

They actually FCW down here in Orlando.

Our cable company Bright House airs it on their sports network. I've watched it a few times and it gives you a look at the stars before they come up.

- CM Punk appeared at last night's FCW show to sign autographs. After Dean Ambrose (Jon Moxley) defeated Yuko Takazoa, he cut a promo which brought out CM Punk to set up the main event.

Punk defeated Ambrose in a main event that went over 20 minutes. Several fans in attendance called it the best match they'd seen in FCW period. Punk also cut a promo after the match.

Must see.

I need to get the youtube vid of this.

Wow, if you watch part 3 Punk puts over Ambrose hard and he's right. I've seen quite a few episodes of FCW and he's the guy who stands out to you. I think Richie Steamboat, Seth Rollins and Bo Rotundo may have more overall upside because Steamboat and especially Rollins are better athletes and are slightly better in the ring. And Rotundo is just so damn young (he's 20.) But none of those guys have near the total package Ambrose has now.

Ambrose is probably the guy who you could stick on the main roster tomorrow and he wouldn't have any problems.
