It's Punk anyway, I'm quite sure of it.

What if it's the return of the ice cream bars?

take it with a grain of salt

The new "Revolution is Coming" promo that's been airing on WWE.com is actually leading up to WWE announcing a new video game release.

The announcement is expected to be made next week, prior to the upcoming E3 video game convention in June.

reports pwinsider

Timing is there with E3, but a new video game makes no sense. They just put a ton of work into switching from WWE raw vs Smackdown! to WWE12. I assume they'd get to at least WWE14 before they changed that.

CM Punk revolution just doesn't make much sense. I'm not saying that's not him in the photo, I just don't know what it'd be about. Ice Cream bars would be good!

If it was Matt Morgan, then it makes more sense. If Matt Morgan is jumping ship before his contract ends that ceartinly would be a revolution. Now I don't know how WWE would do this, do they care that much about Matt Morgan to pay whatever lawsuit he'd have to go through for leaving TNA before his contract ends. :dontknow: who knows? Who knows if what I'm saying right now even makes a lick of sense. ;)

Well the video showed lots of wrestlers, from Hogan to The Rock. Punks revolution was last year, and I think they're just showing him as an example (as they do earlier in the video).

So I don't think the revolution has anything to do with Punk, although I do think it's him in the picture.

It's definitely not Matt Morgan though.

I want it to be a PPV. Bring back New Years Revolution and take away TLC (I think they might have done this already).

If it's a video game, I think that's going to be a huge letdown.

Until of course, the video game comes out and we all run to buy it.

If it is Punk, I still don't think it is, then it's just them showing one of many "revolutionaries" through the years in WWE and WCW and ECW. Nothing more to look into it than that.

I don't think it's legally possible unless Morgan was incorrect in his interview last month and his contract expired sooner than he said. And not only is Matt Morgan not worth the lawsuit that would come from that, no one is. Because I think the only part of TNA that WWE would be scared of is the legal department because Panda Energy (TNA's parent company) would bury WWE legally.

Having said that, Morgan is the perfect guy to stick into a video like this as a red herring. He's mentioned that his contract expires soon, mentioned that he's interested in returning to WWE. And the types of fans who've seen this video and read the articles saying Morgan is in it are likely to be aware of that. And whether the WWE has any interest in Morgan and/or it's legally possible for him to do anything WWE-related on May 28th is immaterial because the purpose of it is to get them talking which in this tiny little corner of internet wrestling fans they've succeeded in doing.

I didn't even look at the picture that closely till after I posted all that. It definitely looks more like Punk than Matt Morgan. Look at the trademark bags under the eyes.

True. It does come right after he says something, could just be another example.

Two guys on a completely different level. Bray Wyatt is close to being a can't miss character. Not as close as Dean, but still close. I could honestly see him being a mainstay for the next 10-15 years.

And Seth Rollins sucks.

Spoilers below

-- At Thursday night's final FCW TV tapings, the highly anticipated rematch between Dean Ambrose and William ended in a no contest due to referee stoppage. During the match, Ambrose caused Regal to bleed from the head and the officials stopped the match.

Ambrose flipped out and attacked the referees and wrestlers who came into help Regal. He then applied Regal's Regal Stretch hold on him. When Regal finally got free, he applauded Ambrose, who proceeded to knock him out with his Knee Trembler move.

I'm thinking that'll come off awesome on TV. The Ambrose-Regal feud was fantastic. Ambrose looked and acted like a 15 year veteran. Whoever writes/books FCW does a tremendous job. It'll probably a lot easier not having to worry about ratings though.
