No I haven't seen those Previously videos, thanks for sharing. This is such an awesome angle, Sundays show should be really interesting.

You Only Live Twice iPPV is supposed to start in a couple minutes, first PPV and official event from this company in almost an entire year. I wasn't following before this all went down, but from the Ashes and Previously videos I feel prepared! Should be fun.

I was considering also, but decided I'd watch this one first and buy the next if I really enjoy it, so I'm watching it here.

I was impressed with todays event. Very hot crowd, and good matches all the way through.

I thought the 4 way tag would be my favorite match as I saw it, but the 6 man tag between Colony/Colony Xtreme Force and Title match between Icarus and Eddie Kingston, who was receiving Burger Kingston chants, were both really good.

The heels were winning almost all the matches and during the title match many of the (I need to learn the roster better still but I think) baby faces came out and surrounded the ring to root on Icarus, then after he won they all celebrated with him in the ring and the commentators were signing off and I thought it was over and stopped watching, but apparently afterwards this big guy showed up and raised some hell

so now I'm mad at myself for missing the ending, but an entertaining show nonetheless.

Chikara sent me this ebook for signing up for their enewsletter called "press start"

They made it before the May show, so some of the info like "Kingston is the first and only Chikara Grand Champion" is now a little dated but it does a good job giving you some info on many of the characters of Chikara. It is 21 pages long and takes a little time to load.

Thanks for sharing. I'll probably try to read it tomorrow since I've got the day off.

Has anyone been keeping up with Chikara? I would like to but I've had trouble coming across video of any of their shows since the ippv back in May outside of short clips from their youtube page.

I visited the Chikara website and it looks like they are trying their own online streaming network for $7.99/month. There is some Kaiju Big Battel on there too, but not much. It looks a little bare right now, but they must have just recently launched it, it says new content will be added on the 1st of every month.

I don't even notice, nor where was I but I didn't know Chikara have their own streaming service until now. I need to check it out and give Chikara a try.

Chikara is halfway to their goal for creating their own video game. Check it out...
