Did he hit him with the mic? I thought he dropped the mic and then punched Ambrose.

Maybe, my stream was a bit laggy, but I didn't see it.

I was really hoping that at the end of the show when HHH and Steph were in the ring complaining about their loss, Orton would've ran in out of nowhere and nailed HHH with an RKO. That would've been fantastic.

For sure. And sad to say, I think that's why we had Ziggler in that role ending the match, not Cena. It was setting up cena and big show

Whatever the reasons, I am thrilled Ziggler got the oppurtunity and hope he runs with it .

Overall, good event with a great main event. I kind of wish it ended with an image of sting and not 5 minutes of hhh and Steph sulking, but it's a minor complaint for an overall great match and epic moment of sting in a wwe ring

Yeah, I wanted Sting to be the final image especially after VKM explained how the Authority's duties would change.

"No more travel, still have a job, am still the heir/heiress to the empire, and I'm still filthy rich... I just can't use the show to air personal grievances" doesn't warrant sobbing and "WHYYYYYYY?!?!" for five minutes.

I went back and watched it again earlier. Definitely dropped the mic and punched Ambrose with a clean fist, so no need for a dq.

Why must we have to suffer by watching a Cena/Show storyline?....

At least they're confined to the same segments. Sometimes we get Cena segments AND Big Show segments.

What is there for Ziggler. Orton is probably back for TLC and Rollins. A Ziggler/Rollins TLC program would be nice.

Isn't it going to be Rollins/Reigns at TLC? At least that's what I took out of whatever the hell his promo was last night.

Just finished the show. **** Fantastic. I loved the Main Event, the match was laid out beautifully. Ziggler being the guy to win it all instead of Cena was absolutely the right call. I've been saying it for awhile now, Ziggler is the new Shawn Michaels. I wanted Sting vs. Taker at Mania but Sting vs. Triple H is damn good choice. Steph freaking out at the end is great. One of the best heel's in the business.

Hopefully HHH is off screen forever if Sting beats him.

Its interesting that so many people here and elsewhere are so high on the PPV. Night of Champions 2 months ago was IMO a far better PPV top-to-bottom. But by far the worst part of the show was the finish, primarily the non-finish between Brock and Cena. But until then I thought it was a tremendous PPV. Conversely, until the main event this was an utterly skipable PPV. The tag match was fun and very well laid out but the second best match on the card being built around comedy is probably not the best thing for your show. And Ambrose-Wyatt was solid but it never reached that next gear (for obvious reasons) and it probably went on 5-7 minutes too long But it was a one match card and that match delivered immensely. And I'm not being hyperbolic when I say this, that Sting moment is the last moment of its kind. Never again will we see a guy show up for the first time and have the lion's share of the crowd know who he is and be believably inserted into a main event angle/segment.
