I saw some rumor that with the pre show and pre show matches, that Mania might be 7 hours. It's getting to the point where Mania should possibly consider being a 2 day event

It's not a rumor. It was seven hours last year too.

I know the actual event was long as hell. I was so burnt out by the main event. Then I made the mistake of doing raw the next day.

My advice to anyone doing mania. Only do 2 events tops

I always said if I did Mania I'd strongly consider doing nxt and raw and skipping out on Mania itself. The event is almost always a dud, while nxt and raw always deliver.

And another problem is there's no real buffer matches anymore. The last hour of WM 30 was paced really well because you had the Undertaker-Brock match but then you had the women's match so the crowd could kinda catch its breath and they were back by the time the main event started. But almost every match has stakes and a real story behind it. The only exceptions are the battle royal and to a lesser extent the smackdown women's title match

maybe, but id still say if you can goto a mania then do it. i probably would've hated it if i watched it on tv last year, but i went and had a helluva time.

Sasha teasing her heel turn on Bayley at a house show: https://streamable.com/sa8al

How often do heel turns happen at WrestleMania where it actually leads to the heel winning? Sasha's heel turn is a WrestleMania worthy moment imo.

To be honest, they've just botched the Raw women's stuff so badly at this point that it's hard for me to care. Sasha clearly should have gone over Charlotte in their feud. She's a better wrestler and a much better heel. She gets her face title win, then turns on Bayley when Bayley wins the number one contender shot. Easy heel heat, and Sasha can cut a solid heel promo to sell it. Then you build to the 'Mania payoff where Bayley finally dethrones Sasha and gets her big title win and moment.

It was so easy and impossible to screw up that I am not even remotely shocked that Vince did screw it all up.

This is the WWE we're talking about, so I'm going to plan for really really bad and hope I'm pleasantly surprised.

Anything beats the same garbage set ups they have most of the time - AKA - Just change the screen graphics and maybe the rope colors

I can't be the only one who's annoyed at the lack of stipulations on this card, right? Seems extremely weird to me that we're 6 days away from WM and not one of the big matches (or really any of the matches) have any stipulations tied to them.

Jericho/Owens especially feels like it should be no DQ or "loser leaves Raw" or something.

Temperatures in Orlando this weekend are supposed to be low to mid 90s. That's gotta have an impact on those wrestling, right?

Definitely not gonna be easy to sit through 7 hours as a fan either.
