Pops died today of heart attack, according to the talking heads on TV.

Edit: The talking heads being Isaac and Suke

Blazers acquired Jones to be a backup PF to Kenny Carr but since Carr was never healthy, Jones was a frequent starter. Jones was a starter and crunch-time player most of his career in Portland.

I only remember him the last 5-6 years of his career since that was around the time I got into basketball.
