It seems like the Spurs option is less of a possibility with each passing day. Duncan and ginobili need to be resigned and I find it hard to believe that kawhi won't take the first max offer he gets knowing SA will match


all three Texas teams would have significant difficulties creating the cap-space to sign Aldridge. Houston has so many obstacles it's probably not worth worrying about, although if LAC continues the playoff humiliation, Maybe Houston would become willing to do whatever it takes, and that would be a fire-sale. In that case, and if Aldridge was determined to go there, the Blazers might get something out of it

Dallas is on the edge of being a lottery team and it's going to be a task for them to keep Chandler and create the space to sign Aldridge, and without Chandler to play C, Aldridge might not have any interest in going there

San Antonio's road to creating necessary cap-space it filled with major potholes.

all this is moot if Aldridge is determined to leave Portland, but it does mean that the Blazers might carry a little leverage in S&T deals
