For once in over a decade I have absolutely zero interest in watching SL.

Although I expect Chandler Ariza (thx Wiz) to average 38/12/11 with 9 steals and 4 blocks.

Wishing Scotty Hopson all the best. He was considered the 5th best player in the 2008 high school class. Hopefully he can make it this time.

My friend's a scout over in China, and Scotty played for their team.

Says he think's he has the best chance of all of them to be in the league.

Love Pierre Jackson. Let's how he is recovering from his Achille's injury

I haven't lost hope with Vonleh.

After a really impressive summer league and pre-season, he was underwhelming during the season offensively.

I'm really hoping he delivers big early on, or I'm afraid he'll get lost within the rotation.

I'm excited to see how Pat Connaughton is gonna do. He seemed like a useful player last summer, but was completely overshadowed by Allen Crabbe. Did a year practicing with NBA players help his development?

I'm looking forward at how Vonleh & Connaughton have evolved, looking for improvement that could translate to better production during regular season.

And of course of Layman, to see what he can bring to the table.

Not gonna learn anything from Noah, he already played great last year, it is about his role coming into the season. Put him in a shell and you won't get a big result.

Its Pat that is intriguing to watch for me cause we could use his shooting and players/media are saying he looks good in practice. The new guy covering the team (something Richman?) doesn't really embellish players so if he says he looks impressive its got my interest peaked.

In other summer league news, there's a part of me that would trade all our success last season for Simmons.

Luis Montero is the guy I'm excited to see, although I am interested in all of the other Blazers players ... Connaughton, Vonleh, Layman and Napier ... I thought I heard he was gonna play? Is that your Summer League starting lineup?

agree on Montero, of all the young guys I think he easily has the highest upside, may never get there but I think he's got the goods and is on a good team to develop them like Barton did

Suns have quite a bit of young talent on their summer league team with Booker (already almost an NBA star), Ulis (Kentucky star), Chriss and Bender (2 high draft picks).

Not a fan of this Jackson at the Blazers PG.

Russ Smith looks like the best player on the Blazers Summer League roster so far.
