The Phoenix Suns, Golden State Warriors, Sacramento Kings and Boston Celtics are among the teams that have had conversations with the Grizzlies about Gay, according to league sources. The Houston Rockets and Toronto Raptors have shown interest in Gay in the past and could be potential trade partners as well.

Yes. I want him on the team. The only guys I'd keep off the table are Cousins, Jimmer, and Robinson. Our roster is in need of a major overhaul, and a guy like Gay is a fantastic place to start. Memphis is in desperate need of shooting given they're second to last in the league in three-point-makes, so I'm assuming a deal might start with Marcus Thornton. I imagine they need a backup big too, so I'd throw in Hayes as well. Evans on top of Thornton/Hayes should probably seal the deal, but I'd first try to get away with not offering him. If they want a second rounder too I'd throw that in.

Gay makes some decent loot, and the Grizz want to cut salary so they won't want MT.

Most likely they would want something like Tyreke + a pick, and our owners would not do that because of extra salary.

Would need a 3'd team that would want one or two of our contracts.

If Zach is available would be a way to dump JT"s salary that goes until 16-17...

I cant prove it but I read somewhere that a suggestion was made that a proposal had been made were it was Gay for Tyreke , Jimmer & Cisco as he has a team option & the Grizz want financial freedom next season .
Not saying how true it is ?

As for ZBO would love to get him but I cannot see the Grizz doing that without getting Big Cuz & I think trading Cuz would be a huge mistake . Not saying he is untouchable because at the right price anyone is tradable as far as I am concerned . But if we could put Cuz & ZBO together then that would be massive .

I don't know too much about Rudy Gay because I haven't seen too many grizzlies games aside from the playoffs. But Randolph is intriguing to me, assuming we could somehow steal him without giving up Cousins. If there was a LEGITIMATE chance to get one of them, which one would you RATHER have on this team?

I have a hard time believing they would give up both gay and zbo. I'd like to have either but I'm sure we could get Gay for much less than what we would have to give up to get zbo. If we could get gay without giving up DMC or tyreke that would be awesome!
