Just reading Stern in that interview, I don't think he wants the team to move to Seattle. Pretty interesting that he tacked on the mayors efforts to keep the team in town immediately after mentioning that the Seattle group submitted paperwork.

C'mon Stern, leave the Kings where they are AND bring back the Sonics!!! It's the RIGHT thing to do.

Nah, that was expected. Pretty much all legal issues in this circumstance don't hold much weight except maybe the FROR from the minority owners of the Kings which is workable no doubt. This comes down to Sacramento and what they can do, always has, always will.

Must be nice to have an arena deal when they want to, and then not have one when they need to (the lawsuit was dismissed on the grounds that they technically don't have an arena deal in place).
