It's really sad when a competitive leader like Cousins gets suspended for trying to give Westfail some balls. This should've been done by Paul.

But really, the suspension was stupid. IMO he did the right thing if he confronted both Evans and Greene.

I didn't even think to factor in such an early backlash from Cousins. Many of us have been mentioning how unsuccessfully used he is as a major part of the offense most of the time. He "demanded respect" from his teammates despite being a rookie apparently. Can't say I don't agree with him, but still, dude, it's probably not the right game to be making that statement don't you think??? It's not like you really tore the roof down in this one. Looked like an out of control elephant for a good chunk of this one.

Interesting. Wonder if this is Westphal and co. blowing this up into a bigger than it was??? Maybe crucifying the rookie because of his "status"?

Just watched the highlight again. Tyreke shot it with 2.5-3 seconds left. Cousins was p'd off right away.

In the interview Cuz was mad at being fouled. Probably trying to cover it up. I understand Cousins aruging about the shot but getting in a fight with a teammate is just stupid. I dont agree with the multi game suspension. OJ Mayo didnt get suspended but I guess they are teaching him a lesson.

I doubt it, as soon as Collison fouled him, and he indeed did as clear as day! Cousins started to go right at the refs.

Somebody has to hold Evans accountable for his stupid decisions late in games. Everything he's done at the end of games as of late has been a complete joke. The coach is always making excuses for him ("he's injured blah blah") and sucking up to him. Evans needs to realize he is not even a halfway decent three point shooter. Don't put up garbage like that with the game on the line. Take it to OT. And Greene, what the hell? He won't even be in the league when his contract is up. No comment on his involvement. Did Cousins do the right thing? I don't care, hell yeah. Somebody needed to get into these misfits' faces so they learn. We won't win any games playing 0 IQ basketball.

Wrong game to do it in. Evans played well tonight, and he had a clean look at that shot. If that shot goes in and this never happens, it WOULD have happened eventually unless a bigger part of the focus offensively is changed. It's a bad time for this to happen, but better now while there's nothing to lose than down the line during an important stretch.
