The main thing I took from the last 6 minutes or so was when McLemore was guarding LaVine, he was able to stay in front of him, which was impressive given McCallum had trouble all game doing that

Does Derrick Williams sitting out mean he's gone? Why else would he sit?

Jason Jones tweeted that Malone said the plan was always for him to play 3 SL games and that's it.

I agree it's awfully convenient...wouldn't be surprised if Williams is actually on the move.

Ray has been impressive these past two games. He still has a few things to work on but what I'm seeing is very encouraging. He should be an excellent #2 PG this season!

Yeah, Ray has looked pretty good. Ben has also had some nice games. Seems like he's more comfortable. Would be huge if both showed significant improvement in real games.

Really impressed with just about everyone who played against the Twolves: Ben, Brooks, Ray, Stauskas and even Cunningham looked good at times. Also, I have liked James just don't think the Kings have room for all of these guards. And now word is getting out that they are interested in Bledsoe. Do the Kings want to acquire every available guard in the NBA? Acy has look impressive but I am not surprised when given the opportunity in Toronto he shined. Moreland looks to be worth a look as well as Oriakhi.

In addition I think Corbin and the staff have done a marvelous job from after the first 2 games getting these guys to actually look like NBA players. They have settled down and let the game come to them and become more comfortable with the pace of the game.

That was a fun game today against the Bulls.

Ben looked better. The handles were much better. He was putting it on the floor off the catch much better. He is becoming a better passer, seeing the floor and even making plays. He was rebounding. Had a few good defensive possessions but could still work a little bit on staying with his man

Quincy just looks nice. From the games I have seen really looks like he can challenge that starting 4 position this year.

Marshon needs to be brought into camp

Ray - I have been a bit disappointed. As highly as I think of him I would have thought he would be dominant in Las Vegas but he gives what he has and will still be a good backup this season

Nik - the jumper is indeed wet but I have to be critical here. Went stretches without being noticed and I personally want more motor and athleticism (I've seen him 2 1/2 games). I've only seen him a couple of times so this isn't an expert opinion. He's also young and in his first action. Hopefully he'll be fine

To be fair, I noticed a lot of times Stauskas was wide open and whoever had the ball either failed to see him or completely ignored him to take a contested jumper. Orakhi (sp?) did it a couple of times as well as Ben.

No question, I think Brooks and Moreland earned camp invites. It seems like almost every player on the Kings that's played has done something positive as time has gone on.

This is a very balanced and deep summer league roster so Nik won't have as many touches and shots available unless Corbin runs plays for him. I think the Kings know what to expect from Nik so they aren't trying to force the ball to him.

Kings had another great game and it seemed like everyone who played today was effective and contributed. Kings were pesky and active on defense, especially when Moreland played. Hopefully he makes the roster because Cousins has no backup and the Kings need his shot blocking ability.
Ben also had another good game and is staring to show constancy. He had a few hop steps and drives to the hoop that we rarely saw from him last season.

is your disappointment in Ray's game or his role? Because IMO Ray has done an excellent job playing within his role, also showing he is a team player .

That is a good question. He may just be playing within the offense, but 'creativity' is what I think I want more of. I don't see him getting in the lane etc. That may be by design

I think it's by design. Nothing in the way Ray is playing says he is looking to score. Re watch the Wolves and Bulls game. You will see a guy running his team, setting the plays, and finding guys open for easy shots. He is playing like a pass first pg.

Really liking the defense so far in the summer league. Quincy better be on this team next year.

Moreland's defensive effort and shot-blocking has really impressed me. He's a solid player.

I hope we can ditch JT and keep him as a big off the bench with Acy and Evans.
