Nationally televised game tonight on the second leg of a b2b. After a big win against Milwaukee last night we'll see if we can keep it rolling against a Lakers team that should have some extra motivation after losing to us earlier this week. Important game for playoff/play in seeing on both sides as well.

Tie game 29-29 after one. No Lyles or Huerter tonight will make it tougher against the Lakers who definitely have the size advantage but we're playing some pretty good defense so far. Reaves was on fire to start but Lebron has been pretty quiet so just need to keep the intensity.

We have a good lead going into Q4, but it is too early to feel confident. Maybe like Denver, the Kings are saving their best basketball until it really matters?

FIngers and everything else are crossed.

That is a good win, let's get the next 2 and put pressure on Phoenix.

Great win, definitely needed it. Let's keep it rolling and get back into the top 6.

Back into the top 6. Now we just need to stay there. Love the fact Keon allows Fox to guard the second playmaker on the opposition. Need to keep Keon in the starting line-up to build some chemistry with the other starters.

I always liked Ellis since his first time playing in the SL. You can tell from the jump that he has a very high work rate and plays the right way.

I’m glad the Kings finally giving Ellis an opportunity to play!

Mike Brown is insistent for whatever reason that Keon Ellis won’t start when everyone is healthy

Saying this again. We are only a reliable Sabonis mid-range shoot away from being a strong contender, even this year.

Some positive news: Our record vs top-4 playoff teams so far is 8-5 and we'd likely avoid Pelicans (0-4) in the 1st round... Don't wanna jinx it but considering the remaining schedule I expect Kings to get 6th spot and play with T'Wolves (possibly without KAT), which would be the best matchup for us between Denver, Clippers, Pelicans, and OKC IMO

My favorite story. At my brothers bachelor party last summer, leaving vegas back to sac was on a 630am flight. See Keon chilling at the terminal by himself leaving summer league (gray hair and all). Bothered him to take a pic with me while i was still drunk from the night before. Such a humble guy, and was nothing but nice. Met a ton of Kings over my days, was definitely my favorite interaction in person. Guessing he didn't get noticed a whole lot at that time lol

Posted about it on Reddit at the time - https://www.reddit.com/r/kings/comments/1529jw0/spent_the_weekend_partying_in_vegas_ran_into_this/

He seemed to even question himself from what I saw. I think he's not wanting to verbally commit but before long Keon will be the full time starter.

I don't think it happens this season but I think this summer we look at using Huerter/HB to upgrade the other forward and Keon getting that job next year. That's what I'm hoping for at least.

Also, that conversation needs to be held with the players involved, not the headline hungry media.
