Would you take Jordan Poole retrospectively in the lotto?

With hindset in a re-draft the class sort of way. Trying to get a baseline.

well yea, but that still doesn't really change the argument that it's an easy archetype to find relatively speaking

We have no argument on that. You are correct.

especially in today's NBA were scoring is at a discount and seemingly anyone with enough volume/usage can drop 30.

That's true, but can they do that with consistency and efficiency? Also, can they create their own shot or are they more of a ball movement catch and shoot type of player? Cam is scoring efficiently and I can absolutely see him in a Jamal Crawford type of role for a good team.

yea for sure, in limited off-bench roles these guys can make an impact, but it can go sideways if they are given too many minutes and too much usage.

Elite scorer. He’s reading defense better to be more efficient and get other guys more involved. Still a work in progress.

yeah, he's pretty special as a scorer. he's going to have games like last night because he doesn't get a ton of easy points, but overall, his feel as a scorer and his ability to make shots is pretty unique.

He is a terrible archetype to build around. I assume he’s just filling a temporary gap in their process.

What’s the difference in his archetype vs Scoot?

Scoot is actually a point guard. Also a much better athlete.

yeah, he's just a scorer - a very talented one. but i don't think anybody thinks the nets are building around this guy.

Cam Thomas is like Jordan Poole, best value is during his rookie year as a microwave scorer...once he his that second deal his value torpedoes...Brooklyn should trade while his value is high

If he is MLE level, that is pretty good value but Poole money would be crazy.

imo, he's a better version of poole. iow, if poole can get poole money, cam thomas has a decent shot.
