what if, what if......what if The Magic were successful in signing him during that summer of free agency when they signed T-Mac and Grant? What if Grant didn't get injured? Magic would have had TMac, Duncan, and Grant HIll all in their primes.

So using this formula, Duncan = 4 'ships. Put him on the Lakers and that's 9 for he and Kobe?

Iverson and Duncan also had to deal with the selfishness of Marburry as well now tht i think about it. Place Tim Duncan on that 2001 Sixers roster and who knows. A front court of Duncan and Mutumbo would have been something. It all comes down to A.I tho.

Tim Duncan would have developed into an all-time great no matter what team he was on. He's that kind of person and that kind of gifted. Considering that AI went to an NBA Finals one year, I find it hard to believe that adding Duncan wouldn't have led to at least 1 NBA Championship for AI.

they win some rings people.
AI is an scoring machine
Timmy is a defensive juggernaut I mean there is only like 3 player in history better than him on that end(Russell/KAJ/Hakeem) and still a great inside presence on an stellar defensive team.

I think you're wrong. How do you think Kenny Thomas earned that huge contract?
Duncan would have averaged 30ppg playing with Iverson.

Keep in mind the East was absolute balls until about 2004. So that Sixers team becomes untouchable in that conference until then. After that it'd a big more difficult but they're still title worthy

I still think they end up with about 4 titles

This is complete nosense. Did you see Duncan in Wake Forest? Or at least in his rookie season?

Except for being owned by Greg Ostertag and Jermaine O'Neal in the SL, Duncan was basically a HoF shoe-in if healthy since well before he played his first NBA minute.

For lots of players in the draft, it's all about the situation. They can boom or bust depending on where they land. For guys like Tim Duncan, the impact is minimal.
