Glen Rice Jr. could be a big steal in the late 2nd, the guy skillset is great and now he looks focus, not like in Georgia Tech, could pan out as a Nick Young/Brandon Rush type of player, that's great value in the 2nd round, and in this weak draft is amazing value.

He was a grown man (turns 25 this month) playing against teenagers. That's a huge red flag - I wouldn't draft him.

Anyone know much about Norvel Pelle? I guess he's getting an invite to some predraft camps. Is he a Juco player?

^ No, he played at prep school and did not qualify, so he is making the jump from not playing last year.

hes legit, i think he will ultimately go considerably higher than late 2nd round. hes better than solomon hill, carrick felix, and deshaun thomas

hes 25 years old and still extremely soft. he doesnt rebound well or defend. and his shooting is nowhere near elite enough to make up for his weaknesses. hes a poor mans brackins

I think Victor Oladipo is going to be the sleeper in this years draft. The guy has good size, is very athletic, seems to have an excellent work ethic, he's mature, and sort of reminds me of DWade. Don't be suprised if he wins rookie of the year.

You mean small forwards who can't shoot?

What??!!!

CJ Fair is an awesome shooter. His mid-range jumper is probably his biggest strength. He also shot in the high 40's % from 3 this year (granted he didn't shoot a ton of them).

Fair has a slow release, and I think that will be an issue if he doesn't correct it, but to say he 'can't shoot' is just absolutely not true.

What do you guys think of Dellavedova? I'm very impressed by his FT% being over 85% all 4 years. Although he never broke 40% in college from 3, taking a high volume of 3PA and his FT, makes me confident in him as a shooter along with the passing.

Yes, he is definitely a sleeper. Think Chad Ford has him around the 90th best prospect in the draft. His combination of shooting, ability to run pick and roll, strength, size, passing, and experience on a big stage all are worth a look. There are a lot of solid PGs projected to go in the second round and he deserves to be in that conversation.

He probably goes undrafted and may be better off starring overseas, but hes still slept on.

He can certainly shoot and he can run point, but it's hard to argue he did enough in college to justify a draft pick. I mean, 17 ppg as a senior at St Mary?

He does have a bit of Calderon to his game (or a paraplegic man's Nash). He's interesting enough that if I'm looking for a 3rd PG to stick in the D league I'd give him a camp invite or maybe a late 2nd draft pick. He's interesting enough that if a team like the Rockets or Spurs grab him, I'd be a bit scared to be a GM who passed on him.

I think it is hard to call a guy who could go top-5 a sleeper. I do agree he has a shot at rookie of the year, I would probably have him top 3 or 4 for that. I think Burke is most likely to get rookie of the year, Porter probably second. You have Noel, Len and Bennett all overcoming injuries and needing a bigger adjustment to the NBA(big men vs. guards).

If he goes somewhere where he is asked to start from Day 1, Porter doesn't and Burke struggles it does look like he could win ROY.

I wasn't specific enough with my remark. I was specifically referring to his three point shooting, as illustrated by my follow up comment. I typically think of Fair as a gritty player who makes some nice runners and scores closer to the basket. (sometimes off of offensive rebounds, which he is fairly good at collecting)

This season, as I expressed in this thread, I was shocked that his three point percentage took a big step forward to 40%. (where it was when I made the post) Later in the year, he raised that to mid-40%. I think I caught him on most of his off games surprisingly.

Fair definitely has improved his three point shooting stroke, even though he isn't high volume.

Fair isn't even in the draft.

I'm well aware. He was responding to a reply I made back in either January or February.

What do y'all think about Brice Johnson? without Wiggins he probably get some minutes at SF next year, he should.

Probably he'll stay at least until 2015 in UNC, but he has good potential.

I like the idea of Paige-Berry-Johnson-Hicks-James for 2014-15 with Britt-Jackson-Meeks coming off the bench.

Is DJ Stephens going to be drafted?

Can't wait for his combine numbers.

Think so. The stat guys teams should be big fans.
