I think Napier is the best senior guard prospect... but I think he's probably a back up.

Like I said a few years ago.. Napier is special. Mike Bibby special imo. As good as Kemba was.. Kemba was good, because Kemba was GOOD. Too quick, too fast. Napier is different. He's a PG also. And things just work for him.. He isnt special athletically.. But his tools work for his build and profile. He's a starter in the NBA eventually.. sooner rather than later.. He's Bibby all over again

I know I'm going to somehow get **** for this, but he really reminds me of Steph Curry. Curry has games where he just doesn't show up and then games where he explodes. Same as Napier. Probably better as a good back-up, but he can get really hot. Might be a solid starter.

That's what I thought at first, but he's more of a shooter in than a driver.

I would not have said this last year, but I think he is a solid backup PG at worst with a ceiling of a Kyle Lowry type player.

He doesn't have the quickness of Kemba but he is a better shooter with better PG skills. I haven't seen a guy have this much command of the game at the PG position in college since Chris Paul and Deron Williams.

Shabazz is a 6-1 version of Paul Pierce. His skills are so far ahead of any PG in the draft. Hes under rated under appreciated. He might not have the physical skills of a 6-3 athletic dunker type--but more in the mold of a Chris Paul--hes a winner and a unique player. I dont know where he goes but if hes not a top 20 pick--someones going to get fired and its a spit in the face to 4 year players.

He does whatever his team needs to win. The team struggles to rebound? He averages 7.0 rebounds per game as a 6'1" PG. He leads the team in points, rebounds, assists, and steals while shooting 57% from 3.

Even though he's not big and doesn't have elite athleticism, he has some CP3 elements to his game where he plays with poise and it always feels like he has complete control over the game. If you look at the video above, all of his points come when his team is trailing or tied. 26 points all when his team needed him most.

I think it's time he starts getting talked about as a lottery pick.

I just watched your video and noticed that Napier only had one assist during the whole 3:43 minutes of hi-lites.

That would be an incredible finish if it happened Sat--can u imagine a f4 game ending like that? As for the passing--Ive seen everyone of Napier's game for 4 years--the guy is a GREAT passer--maybe the best part of his game. He just needs to play another way for this team.

i love his handles. he has incredible control of the ball and is very good at shifting speeds.

that being said, he might be able to score but his size is going to limit him in 1. finishing ability and 2. defense...much like damian lillard, opposing guards will drop 20 on him easy. he's just so damn small it is hard to justify keeping him on the court unless his offense is insane (ie. isaiah thomas)

I've been really surprised to see how well he passes. The problem is there is 35 seconds on the shot-clock. There isn't an instant offense and the ball needs to get passed around more before someone shoots. If he played with 24 seconds, I think he'd have more assists.
There is also the fact that in college, only a select amount of players hit open shots. In the NBA, missing an open shot as a one, two or three is terrible. Fours and fives are understandable because a good amount of them can't shoot jumpers.

Admittedly, I haven't seen many of his games, but is my comparison of a Jarrett Jack very off?

He's more athletic and more creative with assists. I don't think Jack is a great passer unless he's passing to the perimeter.

What about offensively? Is it a match?

just so you know, mock drafts don't even have him in the first round.

jarret jack was prob more refined as far as shot selection
i mean his numbers alone show you that he made smart decisions. 55% from 2, 45% on 3's...he wasn't one to force up shots

If the Raptors dont get Ennis with our first pick.... I can see him falling to us at 37.
