Nik Stauskas has offensive skills, but he's soft--too soft to be a star. The guy is a huge 6'6" college SG, but he can't grab more than 3.0 RPG, and he averages less than 1.0 SPG.
Even little guards like Steph Curry, Chris Paul, and Jeremy Lin were reeling in nearly 5.0 RPG and 2.5 SPG in college.
