Yeah, super excited to see him play.
I was right about 3 point shooting. I expect to be right about Tacko Fall. Some coach will figure out how to use Tacko Fall. This movement towards undersized centers will sweep ng back. Back to the basket scorers will return to the NBA.

Man, I was so high on Jordan Adams.

I thought he was definitely going to have a nice career in the NBA.

He started slow, but was still very young in his 2nd season, he was All-Summer League 1st team on his 2nd year, if I'm not mistaken. Then he disappeared.

What happened to him? Last thing I knew was he had a knee injury.

Edit: he's playing in Argentina now. Here are his highlights from last season:

Glad to know he's still a pro somehow, I thought his knee injuries were career ending.

Maybe a return to the NBA isn't out of the question? He's still 27.

What prompted you to bump this and think of Jordan Adams? March Madness? I'm curious to get into the mind of someone like you

Someone wrote about him in one of the sticky threads recently... plus, I remember reading about him on the Hoops Analyst site, and this was the guy who originally discovered Jeremy Lin, and he was quite high on Adams.

Cheers!

Ah yes, one of the misses for me as well....I thought that Adams was going to be, at worst, a solid 10-15 off the bench guy. Totally whiffed it.

Yeah. missing on that pick really killed the Griz. they desparately needed competent offensive wing play throughout the grit and grind era, and Adams ought to have been at least a solid 9th man in his prime. I still don't really get what happened - his metric were great pre-draft, he looked pretty ok as a rookie...

Hey got hurt and the Grizzlies botched his knee surgery. Was never the same.
