that's probably his best position

Well that lowers his ceiling to Chandler parsons type player. As a shooting guard his upside is significantly higher.

i dont agree. i think he'll have a better chance beating SFs off the dribble than SGs which makes him more of a versatile offensive threat.

Pair him with Wiggins and watch the mismatches on the post. We should be abused on the paint also.

He looks like an ideal NBA wing. Great skillset and athleticism for a 6'8"-6'9" wing. I wonder about his handle and his ability to get a step on defenders, but he seems to have just about everything else.

Anyone knows something about his measurements? Can't find them on DX... Wingspan, in particular. Does he have a long wingspan (7 ft or similar) or shorter arms like other skilled Euro prospects?

Just a curiosity.

Is this guy the best offensive talent outside of okafor? If so why is he being talked about going late lottery instead of top 5?

He grew an inch in each of last 2 years going from 6'6 to 6'8.He has 90kg last time i checked and has a nice frame,James Harden-like.I couldn't find wingspan measurements either but I'd say he has at least 6'10 wingspan if not more. Not sure which other euro prospect beside Saric had short wingspan recently but i dont think Hezonja will have such problems.I for example, standing 6'6 w/o shoes have 6'9 3/4 wingspan and i am not doing anything basketball related, short wingspan aint really euro only thing :D

Few issues i see so far for Mario is that he is TO prone and likes iso plays too much for my liking, euro ball is more team oriented and iso players except few elite ones are not really appreciated and groomed. He also have nice handles and in NBA he can definitely be secondary ball handler and create from pick and roll.He likes to make flashy passes so TO comes mostly from that and sometimes he gets carried away with basketball and travels with the ball as he slides too much.

He needs to be in Utah, he and Hayward with Favors, Gobert, and Exum would be a nice young core.

Hezonja has been doing some things in games that display athleticism almost on par with Wiggins. Plus, Hezonja has a tighter handle, better body control and is a better passer than Wiggins. If he can play SG at 6'8" and do those things, I'd put him ahead of both Winslow and Johnson.

As a Jazz fan, I think Exum/ Hezonja / Hayward / Favors / Gobert will do just fine.

Drafting a euro in the top 5 scares me but this guy has something special about him. His combine will answer a lot of questions about him. He's a wildcard in this draft.

This game just ended. Mario did well in his 16:51 minutes on the court.
He scored 12 points (2/5 for 3 and 2/5 for 2) , 5 rebounds, and 1 steal/TO/assist.

Watched the entire game. Hezonja plays with supreme confidence. Good jump shooter, good athlete and gives a ton of effort on the court. His ball handling and playreading are works in progress. Looks seriously good to me.

I think he has option this summer to either opt into new 4 years contract(2 mil $ buyout), or to opt out and go to NBA.He said he is not sure yet will he declare but he is leaning towards it.Some scouts think he is NBA bound next year.
