He has one video up on draftexpress, and admittingly he looks pretty good. 7'7 wingspan, insane. However it's based all on one game, and there doesn't seem to be footage available of any other games he played.

Nothing like CDR. Played big man in college and could be an undersized 4.

Did you watch him? I had front row seats. He isn't big enough to bang with NBA 4's, his skill set inside was nice in college but doesn't translate to the NBA. He's a 3 at this level and not even particularly big for that. He has a solid all around game, may be able to post some other backup threes but will look better getting open shots and driving off the perimeter.

CDR always played on the perimeter though. Different handle, different game. Early projects predominantly as a spot up shooter at next level with good athleticism inside.

They were still googling him and only found youtube footage of when a fan recorded one of his games on his phone.

Men we like to say that some clubs just pick up some guys from Brazil streets and favela's and put them on European football pitch becoming new stars all of a sudden, honestly never expected to see such a thing on an NBA draft, especially no in the 1st round.

@Jordan comment, you had games on TV. I am not sure if people in Brazil know of Cablalo.

Spurs with the steal of the draft. Anderson is going to be great in their system.

Oh, I didn't mean he'd be exactly like CDR, just that he was going to be about that caliber player. Guy who came into the league after a lengthy college career and could play defense, score in a variety of ways and provide some intangibles but nothing at a high enough level to make an impact.
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

Love that pick for them! Good landing spot for Kyle. Good luck to him.

What's Philly trying to accomplish? I'm honestly curious with all these players that they're drafting.

They did. They didn't focus on it because they were too busy ripping the pick.

McDaniels, Stokes and Robinson look like 2nd rounds steals to me.

Just thought that this moment deserves it's space as one of the most special moments in NBA Drafts. Congrats to the NBA, and best of luck to Austin!

Having had time to think about it I'm actually pretty happy with McGary so long as the back is good.
