Calling it - Embust

I didn't like him before his injury, thought he might be a decent role player, nothing more. But with all the injuries he's had, I am pretty sure he is going to be a bust. The next Oden,

Only if he goes to the Cavs. I think, when viewing his #s, he's supposed to be good, but the injuries would really worry me. On top of that, centers don't play as big of a part in today's game as they used to. Some team will reach for Embiid, particularly in the East, where there aren't many strong frontcourts

Some statements are so ridiculous they should result in a timeout, so the poster can sit in a corner and think about what he wrote.

there's usually only one or two successes from the lottery. if i had to pick that one it would be parker because he's ready.

What can you possibly not like about a healthy Embiid? He has size, athleticism, great hands, footwork, offensive skill, shotblocking, passing and high basketball IQ. I guess you want your center to be able to hit three pointers too.

He is a soft player, doesn't like to bang in the post, doesn't dunk on people almost always tries to finish with a finesse layup. He would get pushed around by NBA big men the first few years.

Yeah, he'll be a bust. Tell your team not to pick him, please...

Well Jabari is not that athletic to be a great finisher. Wiggins is also a poor finisher with only 3 or 4 made dunks in total halfcourt drives.

Now that theres been a thread dedicated to his bust potential maybe somehow this actually eliminates the chances of it happening in the real world, mystical NBA.

I just want all the good juju one could possibly obtain really.

We need to invent a new word for injured players who don't achieve expectations. There is a big difference between Greg Oden and Kwame Brown. If Oden was healthy he would have made the HoF.

The bolded is patently false, he was posting up regularly, and to some degree of success. And of course, you know that he can get stronger, right? I bet you NBA teams have better strength and conditioning programs than KU. Furthermore, who gives a damn if he's weak for the first few years, you're drafting a raw big man. He isn't supposed to be a great player until year 3.
