Zach Auguste

He looked like a legit NBA player but I know he is not rated to be drafted until just recently. Is #60 in 2016 draft on DraftExpress. He is 6'10, 240, put on a post scoring clinic and looks like he can put the ball on the floor.

Don't get carried away after 1 performance.

Soft. Doesn't shoot the 3. Not many post moves.

I wonder if the Greek national team will call him to tryout for their team at some time?

He is under the radar of Katsikaris but given our depth on the F positions I highly doubt that he can win a spot this summer

He is listed in internet as a PF, but he is a C. I watch a lot of NCAA and he plays all of his minutes as a C. He never plays as a PF. He is only used as a C. In fact, he is strictly used in the manner that Greek teams use centers, and would never play PF if he was playing in any Greek team.

That is why I am curious about that, because the one thing I can see him do well is switch on everything and show on all the picks. The same style of play that the Greek teams like Olympiacos and Panathinaikos use in Euroleague, but that their national team has never used because their national team centers are all too slow to play that way. But Auguste is exact kind of center to play like that. And he definitely is not a PF, even though he is listed that way.

And I did not mean for him being in that Greek team this summer. I don't think he could make Greece's team this summer. I was thinking more like after this summer, or after 2016 Olympics.

He is under the radar for sure. Greek sports website follow every Greek on the NCAA so everybody is well known. They like his athleticism and his range, but he has to prove his self even more. Maybe they will call him just to see what we have on him and for the Olympics he will have his chance to make the team considering the age of Bourousis. Actually if he is any good will fill a major need since our next talented C is just 17 y/o (Papagiannis)
