1. #4 or #5 gets traded
2. Russell goes #1
3. Mudiay falls and still gets traded by team that picks him

as for the op that says randle is traded for 10-15, I'd bet my house that doesn't happen. There's no projected to be better than Randle in those range unless Porzingis falls that far.

I think Johnson will slip a bit. Here's why:

- He's an SF. Too small to play PF except in small ball line-ups; think of a more athletic Jared Dudley
- He's a decent shooter with his feet set, but his release point is low and he's not a shot creator. He's a spot-up guy.
- Winslow, Hezonja and Oubre are arguably quicker, equally or more athletic, and more prototypical for the SF position.
- Other guys like Turner, Oubre, Kaminsky, Looney and Portis are doing well and rising. Payne and Lyles are dark horses.

I think Looney will rise. Here's why:

- He's been shooting well in workouts.
- He already rebounds well and will get stronger. He's just a frosh.
- He has a really nice mix of handle, passing and length to go with his shooting; he's in line with the nouveau PF that Zach Lowe wrote about.
- UCLA underachieves and limits its players more often than not.

Hornets pick surprises. They will be expected to take a shooter like Booker but both the Zeller and Vonleh picks had numbers backing them up more than Booker would. Layne Vashro's top 10 in EWP:

1 D'Angelo Russell 11.7
2 Karl Towns 11.4
3 Justise Winslow 9.5
4 Jahlil Okafor 9.4
5 Stanley Johnson 7.6
6 Kevon Looney 7.6
7 Frank Kaminsky 7.3
8 Delon Wright 6.3
9 Kelly Oubre 6.2
10 Tyus Jones 6

So a pick like Johnson, Looney, or Kaminsky

Bobby Portis goes in the top 12

Mudiay outside the top 5 will be a mistake. Everything said else makes sense.

Mines are:

Booker will be a top 10 pick.
Hunter will be a top 15 pick.
There is a chance that if Oubre is off the board, Atlanta could draft Rondae Hollis-Jefferson.

Everything coming out of Minnesota suggests you have this the wrong way round in the Towns is jumping Okafor for first overall as Flip changes his mind

Okafor falls to 4.
WCS drafted at 5 (Not a crazy surprise, but it's a jump up).
Rubio gets traded on draft night.

Actually teams really like Johnson. They're saying he wasn't allowed to do a lot of things in Arizona. He's also working on a post game.
Looney is actually reportedly dropping. Teams don't think he's ready at all for the NBA, no one knows what position he is and recently teams found out he has asthma and can't play many minutes. Teams are still intrigued by his upside. I think the highest he goes is 20 to the Raptors. He's a player a team is going to pick to try and develop.

My guesses:

1) OKC trades up the draft.
2) Cedi Osman gets drafted at the 18-23 range.
3) Trey Lyles slips out of the top 15.

Dekker and Oubre go ahead of Johnson (and after Winslow, Hezonja) - making Stanley a middle of 1st round pick - somewhere from 15 to 20.

Pistons, Nuggets and Kings in a 3 way deal:

Pistons trade their #2 to the Kings, who then trade the #8 to Denver to Ty Lawson and Faried. Denver gets both WCS and Winslow.

Pistons desperately want Hezonja who can be the dominant scoring SF they need as this young team grows together. Drummond, Jackson, Hezonja and KCP are their long-term 4 man core. Maybe joined by Dinwiddie, who might be really good (he's able to work out fully this season as he's not rehabbing his knee this summer - reportedly getting a lot stronger and more explosive). Ilyasova like players continue to be added, including one more SF of that quality to start while the rookie develops.

WCS slides and Detroit trades their pick for a vet. And I won't like it.
