How good will this all rookie team be?

Post#1 » by RexBoyWonder » Sun Jun 14, 2015 4:34 pm

Let's say they play 82 games, how do you see them doing?

PG : Mudiay /Payne
SG : Russell/Booker/
SF : Winslow/Hezonja
PF : Towns/Porzingis
C : Okafor/Cauley-Stein

Optional additions : M.Turner, Stanley J, Kaminsky.

Worst in the league?
Better then Knicks?
Playoffs contenders in the East?

How many games are they winning by the end of the season?

I'd say about 15 wins at most. Unfortunately about half those guys are going to be disappointments. There's no way they can all live up to their potential. A few will be flat out busts. And the other half will need a year or more to be really ready to play a major role.

That starting line-up looks like it would be insane. Hope they pull a LeBron/Wade/Bosh unification in the future.

Rookies really aren't good. Expecting a rookie to come in and help as a rookie is nearly certain to lead to disappointment. (baring old rookies like Mirotic, but that starting lineup are all 1 year out of HS).

I'd say 15 wins as rookies. If kept together that win total would go up rapidly.

They might win one game. Five years from now they could be #5 or #4 in the east.

In the east 30 wins. In the west 18 wins.

Really? team full with high lottery talents in their young primes will be #5 in the East?

You've probably got 6 max or near max contracts players in that group by then.

if you mixed that team with some role players like Looney and Lyles, moves Stanley into starting lineup and replaces WCS with Turner they could win 25 games first year playoffs second year.
1. Herro 2. Bol Bol 3. Seko 4. Bruno
unless we trade up for Barrett or trade down for PJ Washington
