Could Okafor to the Knicks happen?

Some reports have come out saying that the Lakers are favoring Russell over Okafor. If this happens i really hope the Knicks decide to swap with the 76ers and get the guy they have been wanting all along. Yes I am a desperate Knicks fan so a guy can only hope right? Also i heard the Celtics could swap with Philly for 3, i pray not.
