How high do two first rounds picks get you?

Post#1 » by jsa » Tue Jan 26, 2016 11:19 pm

I'd like some educated opinions on how high can the 76ers move up in the draft if they trade their Miami and OKC picks? Obviously the OKC pick is very late. I'm guessing the Miami pick is 12-18.

16 and 19 got the Bulls the 11th pick in 2014.
14 and 21 got the Jazz the 9th pick in 2013 .

with that range for the Miami pick you might be able to move to 9-14.It becomes very team dependent though as you need to find a team that knows their guy will be there at the later pick and so getting a free extra pick makes sense

If Philly gets the Lakers pick, it would make sense for them to move 2 later firsts for a LATE lotto pick.

No point in having 6 rookies on roster!!! (philly pick, saric, embiid, Miami pick, OKC pick, Lakers potential pick) And that's if they donts keep any 2nd rounders (of which they have a million)

Next season philly may start to see the fruits of their labour

Well, the OKC pick is right around 26, so if MIA is at 14 highest I coul see is 11

I could see both DEN and BOS trying to move up and their picks are better positioned IMO

The Miami pick is currently 23, so I'm not sure those two get them far up.Boston has 15 and 21 and Denver has 16 and 17 (besides their lottery picks), both I would think would like to move up also.
