Rabb is a more intelligent player right now and he has more moves than Chriss, but once Chriss puts it all together he will likely be the better player. The question is if he will be able to ever put it all together. If I were a GM, I would take Chriss fourth behind Ingram, Simmons and Bender. Alas, I'm not a GM and there will likely be a bunch of guys before him. I just think the best players are the ones that are the most fun to watch and Chriss is so much fun to watch. Very underrated passing vision too.

Man, I keep watching him and I just don't see what all the fuss is about. Trying to understand but my eyes just don't see it.

He's very talented. The comparison video against Rabb is great. Rabb is more fundamentally solid, but Chriss has great upside.

I actually think he might be a 3 in the NBA. Reminds me a bit of Paul George

Where do people think he will be drafted? You know he's going to do well in workouts with his athleticism. Late lotto? Top 10? Top 5?

I think the Magic will end up taking him barring a miracle jump into top 3.

I've seen some variation on how people's projections for Chriss' role and position in the NBA... he's a hard guy to project imo. A unique skill-set for a prospect.

Watching him I have to think he's a PF in the NBA. I can't see him at the 3.

Yeah, at first I thought I saw him as a three, but I don't see it happening. He's a four that can defend the less quick threes. He himself isn't a runner. He doesn't have a fast sprint.

From SI

F | 6'9", 225 | FR.

Chriss caught a lot of people off guard at Washington this year. He was not a McDonald's All American, and he didn't even crack the top 50 of ESPN's recruiting rankings. Then he showed up in Seattle and averaged 13 and 5 in 24 minutes per game, on 53% shooting and 35% from three. His trajectory is basically the polar opposite of Skal Labissiere, the other player the Raptors could consider here. I like Chriss more. His biggest weakness at Washington was foul trouble, which is the single easiest weakness to fix. He's only played basketball for five years, and while he's still very raw—remember, we're in Project Territory—his ceiling is high. Could he have used another year in college? Definitely. But if he ends up with a good team that can afford to develop him, he has the potential to be one of the bigger steals in this draft.

He remembers me so much of young Marvin Williams, it is crazy, Chriss is a better shooter at the same stage, and Marv was a better basketball player with more length, but they are more or less bound to have the same role.
Chriss is a bit bouncier or plays with more explosion but his game is more out of control, Marv was a much more determinant guy defensively, smarter for sure.
Anyway in this draft a guy with Marvins career, in this era also, because Marvin had to play the SF stupidly for years, he would have been much more valuable if he was 10 years younger, is or should be a lotto pick for sure.

Atlanta back then was disgraceful and couldn't develop their players. Marvin came in the wrong era but the problem with being a good prospect is they get drafted by teams who can't develop players.

Actually looking at him more, reminds me of Markieff with Griffin's athleticism.

Kinda plays like a wing who had a late growth spurt, he was rerutied intially as a tight ened so still developing a feel for the game. Could work on the fundamentals of boxing out and establishing the inside position, he averaged nearly the same amount of offensive boards as defensive ones per game
