He shot 43.52% from 3 after November, including the tournaments.

In ACC play he shot 53-121, or 43.8% from 3.

For the season he shot almost identically to Durant's lone college year. Slightly better %, 4-5 less shots total for the year.

Unreal how much this guy's getting slept on.

no comment on him shooting 42% inside the arc?

As a barely 18 year old 190 lber, I wouldn't read too much into it. That would be short-sighted in the extreme. The dude basically matched Durant shot for shot from 3, against much tougher competition, but because he wasn't a preseason superstar people just ignore it.

lol, stats aren't a shopping aisle were you can pick and choose.

It's a lot easier for an 18 year old to gain 20 lbs than it is to learn to shoot exactly like Kevin Durant from 3.

But go ahead and double down on the outdated idea that Ingram isn't a top notch prospect, with an obvious Durant comparison.

I swear, people make up their minds about prospects in the first two weeks of a college season.

lol, no one saying he's bad but he isn't Kevin Durant. You are delusional to start comparing a college player to an MVP that made huge strides from his college year to become the NBA player he is now.

How good is Ingram's defense? He surely has tools to be a great defender but does he has mentality and instincts too?

He isn't the most fluid laterally and has somewhat of an awkard gait as a long strider, can stay in front of his man but leaves his feet too often biting on pump fakes and over relying on his wingspan recovering for a chase down block, but finds ways to alter shots.. He isn't quite the lockdown on the ball defender yet but he makes his presence felt when he's keyed in, he neutralized Cat Barber.

Hes a better defender than Durant was coming out of college. Dont expect defense as a rookie like Winslow or RHJ showed this year. Like stated above he was isoed on Cat Barber a couple times and Cat couldnt get by him. He definitely has defensive potential and puts effort in on that side. Still needs to put on weight and still has to be more consistent is his defensive fundamentals. He should be an average-solid defender his rookie year and has high potnetial
