Who takes the biggest fall ?

Post#1 » by skywalker33 » Fri Jun 10, 2016 8:42 pm

So far I've been hearing that Bender's stock is dropping, Brown may not stay in the top 10 and and Skal can be had in the 20's....

Who falls the most ???

Brown and Bender will be in the top 10. Skal will probably be top 15.

If Bender fell to 7/8/9 I'd love Toronto to do whatever they could to get him. His skill set would fit like a glove.

Brown I can see falling to the 8-10 range, but I don't see him falling out of the lottery. Skal I can see going end of the lottery. I'm not a huge fan of his but teams nowadays want their bigs to block shots and hit jumpers, and those are his strong suits.

No idea... Hope a top 10 player slips to 32 thou!!!

Does anyone have a red flag for injury concerns yet?
Maker to round 2?
Heild out of top 10?

Also, how do you define "The biggest fall"

A consensus top 2 pick falling a spot?
Or someone who is projected late lotto slipping to 2nd round?

Biggest fall = biggest Change in money vs the projected draft range?
USA Celtics in full effect. Amazing chemistry building experience right there for the main core of the team

Proceeds to finish 7th and shames the entire nation!

I do not see Bender slipping out of the Top 5, and Jaylen Brown would be a definite steal if he slips out of the Top 10, very unlikely though.

Skal is probably on the rise and could probably make the tail end of the lottery. Maker should also get a boost in his stock as he is a rarity among others. Wouldn't be surprised at all if Maker gets picked before Skal.

Players that are moving down the draft board, in my opinion, are mostly guards - Jamal Murray, Dejounte Murray, Denzel Valentine. Dejounte Murray and Valentine could slip past the lottery, but I do not see them still hanging by the 20th pick.

Murray falls to 7-9 range after MIN go Dunn and NOP go Hield. Luwawu falls if people are expecting him to be in lotto conversation. Ford hasn't had him mocked higher than like 35th for the last month based on intel he's getting from teams so I'm guessing 20s is as good as he can hope for at this point. Being mocked in 20s but Valentine possibly falls to Spurs pick range

I can see Bender dropping out of his mock range. There's nothing about his game which screams top 5 pick.
It's seems like every yr scouts rave about some 7 ft Euro player, and more often than not they don't pan out against the physical play in the NBA.

Er?? Just in recent years

2015 draft - Porzingis
2014 draft - Nurcik, Jokic
2013 draft - Gobert
2012 draft - No bigs were hyped this year from Europe
2011 - Valančiūnas, Kanter, Biyombo,Vucevic, Motiejūnas, Mirotic

Bold is pretty much the definition of an uninformed opinion.

Thanks for proving me wrong with your Google research ;) But my opinion about Bender stands firm. If Phoenix doesn't draft him, I expect other lottery teams to pass on him too.

Anybody else think Luwawu or Valentine is available in the late 20's? That would be a steal around there as I believe both are late lottery talents.

Also can see bender falling to 8 or 9 if it goes something like; Simmons/Ingram/Chriss/Brown/Dunn/Hield/Murray then Sac can choose from Skal/Bender/Davis

Jaylen Brown might take a big dip from his mock draft prediction.
It's hard to notice what he does well other than his elite jumping ability.

If Bender falls to 8-9 some GM's deserve to be fired inmediately. Anyway I can't see how the Timberwolves would pass on Bender, he is PERFECT fit for them.

Some of these guys were not selected in the top 5 though (Gobert, Nurkic, Jokic, Vucevic, Motiejunas, Mirotic and Biyombo). Only Porzingis, Val and Kanter were picked that high.

Probably Bender or Brown. But I also wouldnt be shocked if Ingram falls to 3 or 4 and if that were to happen I would consider that the biggest fall

Bender fall out of top 5
Brown falls out of top 8
Simmons falls to 2
Skal drops to 15 or below because Beasley gets taken in the lottery
1. Herro 2. Bol Bol 3. Seko 4. Bruno
unless we trade up for Barrett or trade down for PJ Washington

Well there will be no bigger fall thats for sure.

I assume he's finishing his degree then coming into the NBA?

Anyway from the looks of things Skal falling out of the lottery and top 15, maybe the top 20 (Lakers should be on that like a rash then, the fit is perfect).

Going to say by the looks of the mock drafts that Valentine falls out of the top 20 also because of age. Its stupid because he is legit but he is an older prospect.

God I'll be so pissed if we pass on him if he's on the board when we come up.

Where do you see Skal falling?
DX have him 11th in today's mock and there where even rumours about Lakers love at 2.
