This is not including team needs right? Because the last thing the Kings need is to add Chase Buddinger, another 2/3, to the Martin/Artest/Salmons/Garcia/Douby/Jones dynamo.

It does include team needs to some degree, but I don't put players way out of order based on it so the mock doesn't look skewed. I realize SF is not Sacto's greatest need, but the options were limited here. They could reach for a PG or a big, but Budinger is BPA. I'll leave the hardcore team needs stuff to later in the year.

Boy would I love to be a GM on the phones in the middle of this second round, calling up other GM's to buy some late picks for cash and nab James Mays and Courtney Lee that deep in the draft. Care explaining how on earth Lee falls to #60?

A lot of good players in the 2nd round. This year is shaping up to be one of the deepest 2nd rounds in quite a while.

I like the 1st round pick for Portland. A PG is just what we need currently(obvious to most), and the only thing I'm concerned with about Lawson is his injury this year, but I haven't heard much about that. I'd also like to see if Bryce Taylor would drop to the NY 2nd and pick him up. And with the Memphis 2nd, I'd love for Portland to draft Joey Dorsey or Richard Hendrix. And with our own pick probably some European and keep him stashed. I trust KP and the trades and drafts he'll make though.

From what I understand, Minnesota gets Miami's 2nd this year (Ricky Davis from Boston trade). This would mean that Minni could draft Thabeet in the 2nd, I would imagine that the T-Wolves would be more likely to draft Derrick Rose with the first overall pick because of this. That being said, Jordan is still a good pick for Minnesota.

The specific pick trade is thus: Minnesota receives Miami's 2008 second-round pick. (Ricky Davis trade 012606). via Boston receives a Miami Heat second-round pick. (Antoine Walker trade 080205).

In an interest to save time, I just use nbadraft.net's draft order. They are usually pretty reliable.

Portland has New York's, Memphis' and Indiana's 2nd rounders while their own 2nd rounder goes to Boston.

Kings would take Mayo over Buddinger if available and if not they will take Hibbort. His size would be welcomed and his passing skills would be nice with offensive we run

Why would Mayo be any better a fit in Sacto than Buddinger? Mayo would be the #3 SG, and right now is an inferior prospect to Buddinger.

I love that draft for Miami. Get the pg of the future, and a defensive stopper for the future.

We would try to make him a PG in a sense that he brings the ball up the court and starts up the offense and will play a motion offense with him martin and salmons at the one two and three. All three can create for people and get there own shot. He was more start power and appeal in my eyes. Its way debatable wither or not Buddinger's a better prospect. I believe in Mayo's potential.

Thabeet is a 1st rounder, if not a lottery pick.

I'd take him over half the guys listed in the 1st round. I just can't see him falling into the 2nd round - someone will take a gamble on him in the 1st round, I am pretty certain.

I guess I forgot about Indy's pick, I don't think Cammo's doing it based on traded 2nd rounder's though.

Cammo likely won't add those until the season ends, but you guys need correction. It's not Indiana's pick; it's the lower of Indiana's or Phoenix's second-rounders, i.e. Phoenix's second-rounder.
