How come most people consider Danny Green will be a solid pro, but he's in the middle of the second-round in most mocks?

B/c you can sign a Danny Green caliber player for like 1-2 mil or less per year anytime in free agency. I like Green, b/c any time a 2nd rounder has a decent career, it's a good pick, but no reason to bother using a 1st round or even an early 2nd on him.

I think Claver will end up a big steal. He is essentially a tougher Austin Daye right now, but will be avaliable in the 2nd round. Had he not broken his leg, a injury which he should recover 100% from w/o loosing any athlecism, I think he would be a lower lotto pick.

Steal: Tyreke Evans, Jennings, Beabois, Clark, BJ Mullens

Bust: Thabeet, Rubio and Griffin (Zach randolph type stats guy- great stats but little effect mostly because bad D)

It is just my opinion. Time will tell if I were right or not. Feel free to disagree.

Steals: Tyreke Evans (Best Case: Deron Williams/Worst Case: Monta Ellis)
Personally, besides Blake Griffin, I think Evans is the 2nd best player in this draft. He's long, great ball-handling skills and create his own shot. That's a pure-bred all-star material when you think of things like that. Under the right team, he's going to dominate in a few years. Calipari knows his PG's and Evans looks like a beast to me.

Jordan Hill (Best Case: Jermaine O'Neal pre-injuries/Worst Case: Andris Biendris)
I really like Jordan HIll, 3rd best on my board, I almost want to say if he reached full-potential he'd be Chris Bosh, Jr. but I don't think that'll happen. Though I do think he can become an all-star because of his height & athleticism he posses. With proper training and coaching to the NBA's game & scheduling with enough hard-work put in, he could dominate. Otherwise I see a Biendris type career, just serviceable at best but nothing special (over-paid)

Eric Maynor (Best Case: Poor-man's Tony Parker/Worst Case: Poor-man's Derek Fisher)
I think Maynor in the mid-20's to early 2nd-round is a complete steal for any team. The kid is a proven winner coming from a small-time university but performing huge on the March Madness stage. He's a proven-winner in my eyes and could start in the league if he really has that will. Otherwise I see him as a role-player on the bench for his career. But I think he'll be a main-stay in the NBA.

Busts: Jonny Flynn, DaJuan Blair & Austin Daye
