Or you can go to the one of 4 teams in Europe that can pay you over a million and do their thing.

but your league would not grow, and stern league and global basketball grows, and trust me, thats what owners players and non (Please Use More Appropriate Word) fans want, and thats what stern will do, copy soccer and try to do the same with bball

its a bussiness, not a war, a debate or a nationalistic thing.

hint: when in a certain decade the italian league is the best in the world, you dont see them **** around with the other leagues trying to impose conditions or rules. Thats how you do it, and thats how stern will do it

Huh? The point of a closed league is so that the product remains even and of high quality. Because all teams have the equal possibility of success, and the stability of having a business, the league has better facilities and stronger corporate connections. You look at the list of pro-sports clubs in the world valued at over a billion dollars and you will see mostly North American franchises. (mostly NFL for that matter)

And that's why this system is completely **** up! NO player should be forced to play for a team they don't want to play for. This system is inhuman. Something like that would never be allowed in Europe and that's probably why some European players have a problem with not being able to chose where they want to play.

Nobody's shackled and forced to go on the court every night in the NBA. If you don't like the terms, you can go elsewhere and play. Fran Vasquez didn't like the idea of going to Orlando, so he stayed in Europe. Simple.

Most players are willing to accept the uncertainty of the draft process for a chance to make more money in their rookie contract than many people will make in a lifetime. There's nothing inhuman about it.

You can't force someone to play, but they shouldn't be allowed o hideout for a few years only to reenter the draft. Also, a Player should only be drafted if he declares for the draft. None of this automatic draft elligible stuff.

^This things I believe.

First of all, there is no longer a league called the "NBDL", your terminology is about 3 years behind. Secondly, something like 20% of NBA players have gone through the D-League at one point or another, I think that's a pretty good amount of guys who were developed. I watched Kelenna Azubuike develop for two years in Fort Worth, and Coach Moncrief did a great job getting him ready for the pro game. Sounds mostly like you're talking out of your ass.
