Oh the trickery.

The funny thing is that before they gave that explanation, I thought something looked cool about it. But then once I saw how it was actually just painted like every traffic line out there, I visually could hardly see the "3d" effect anymore. It just looked like angled paint the rest of the game.

I lost it when devlin was saying "technology". It's an optical illusion, you see this on the streets of toronto. art not technology

I like it. Google isometric art and you can find some pretty cool ones.

i covered every high school textbook i ever owned with drawings like that. seems pointless here tho. actually, it was pointless back then too come to think of it.

thought it looked cool first time. the red in the paint looks sharp. the baseline thing is interesting.

have a bunch of nitpicks though:
wood colour inbounds is too light, not balanced for the lights;
centre court logo thing too large;
its outline & the claw outline too thick/inconsistent with the rest of the court;
kerning of the 3d baseline letters doesn't match jerseys, making letters look forced into place;

yeah i agree with your comments. i wonder if the centre circle isn't so big so that all the players can stand in it during the tip off?

I don't understand how it could hurt your eyes? That doesn't even make any sense.

Anyways I don't get the point of it. It doesn't add anything to the broadcast of significance. Its one of those things that might be cool to see a couple times but that's it.

Yea I really hope the 3d sign is just a one time thing.
