praising bennett

Fast forward to Monday night, the season-opener against Northern Arizona, where, as Rice said, there was a lot of pressure on Bennett to make an impact. He is the first McDonald's All-American to go to UNLV straight out of high school in 29 years, and he was debuting in front of the biggest home-opener crowd (18,187) in school history, including legendary coach Jerry Tarkanian (who said of Bennett, "He's got a lot of talent") and a student section that had a pre-planned "Can-A-Da" chant in his honor.

Birch may have a really hard time getting significant PT with Moser and Bennett. They can probably play all 3 together at various points.

Justin Edwards started so well last year too. Disappointing that he ended last poorly and has started slowly this year.

Birch because he transferred and can not play until middle of December. Kabongo because the NCAA sucks and still has not cleared him to play.

NCAA has all the relevant information. It is just a matter of whether they believe Thompson's story. It is a yes or no question. This should have been answered by now.
