Maurice Walker got to play a game! I wonder when his last game action was. Great first game for Bhullar. Would be awesome if he could keep that up.

Anthony Bennett, PF, UNLV
Top 100 Rank: 14

Bennett may be a bit of a tweener, but few freshmen have his offensive skills and the opportunity to use them. Bennett can score from anywhere on the floor and he's an elite athlete. He scored 22 points in 20 minutes in his first game for the Runnin' Rebels. If he can lead UNLV deep this year and prove he has a position, he's another player who could easily end up in the lottery.

this list is amazing - thank you.

as i'm living in London, England, i don't have as much access to NCAA basketball as i'd like.

some quick questions for you guys:

- any update on Kabongo?

- what's the deal with Khem Birch? he was a projected 1st round pick 3 years ago and still has yet to see action. is he red-shirting until the end of the term [i believe the rules for transfers are 1 calendar - and not academic - year?]

- Kyle Wiltjer reminds me of Bargnani; tall, can't rebound, shoots a disproportionate amount of 3's...but when he's on, he's a scoring machine. any chance that he'll go in the 2nd round if he enters the draft this year?

- Dwight Powell is slowing down after a quick start for the first 2 games.

- Negus Webster-Chan is off to a really slow start, but he's a freshman and probably wasn't intending to be one-and-done anyway

- Nick Stauskas is shooting the living daylights out of the ball. I remember that there was some buzz around this guy last year in terms of which school he was going to commit to - is he on the NBA radar? he has decent size for a guard and apparently has a great shot

- Kevin Pangos is also off to a good start in spite of playing less minutes than last season. i wonder if he can sneak into the 2nd round from a team that needs a good shooter off the bench. if so, he'll probably declare as a junior or senior when he gets the opportunity as the go-to guy.

- it's only been 2 games, but Anthony Bennett is putting up solid numbers so far. if he keeps it up, he'll probably be a Top 10 pick. perhaps Oklahoma City can take him with the Raptors' #6 overall pick.

NCAA has all the relevant information. It is just a matter of whether they believe Thompson's story. It is a yes or no question. This should have been answered by now.

This is why Birch and Kabongo are not playing.

Players do not leave early to be a 2nd round pick pick unless they hate school or are failing in school. Chan will be lucky to be drafted at all in four years. His stock dropped a lot from 2 years ago.

I watched half of Michigan-Pitt last night. Stauskas seems like he has a future with the NT as a shooter. I think his NBA prospects will depend on how he develops physically.

Bennett is playing really well so far this year. Disappointing loss though against Oregon.
